Yes, absolutely dismantle the gender binary. BUT dont forget to dismantle the sex binary too. Intersex people exist and they regularly get ignored in both queer and non-queer spaces. There are NOT only two sexes, and us perisex trans people CAN NOT forget that or else we will become like our oppressors, people who say there are only two genders and that what you are born as is what you must stay as. Intersexism must be stopped.

I have a little paperwork tray next to my computer, and my cat will set next to me and scream until I pick her up and her in the tray like a freshly submitted assignment.

She won't settle for food, or for pets, or for being in my lap. She specifically wants to be in the paperwork tray. There's a stapler there, and a charger, and a bunch of lumpy things that would be annoying to sit on, but she insists.

Really, the worst part is already over, which was figuring out what she wanted. I spent months getting yelled at before I figured out that she wanted to be filed. In my defense it's a pretty unusual request.

Please Help My Friends' Dog

I don't normally make these posts, but my friends are really in need at the moment.

On May 29th, my friends woke to find their dog, Luke, bl33ding profusely from the mouth. A trip to the emergency vet and later their day vet found bl00d accumulated in Luke's lungs. As of now, my friends don't have the money to get even a proper diagnosis for Luke though his vet has given an informal diagnosis of pulmonary edema.

Linked above is their GoFundMe which as of June 5th has raised $220/3,000. If you are financially able, I ask your help in donating to their vet bills. Any additional money not needed will be donated to other pet families in need.

i want you all to know that there is an artist (carmen papalia) who, after he started using a white cane, assembled a 12 foot long white cane and began using it in downtown vancouver. the length of the cane made it functionally useless as a device and the only purpose it served was making him an obstacle for sighted people. dare i say… 2019 goals
