thinking about how season 6 was probably already written when they found out that it would be the last

& they were allowed to add an extra ep to wrap everything up

assuming they didn’t change too much about the season, does this mean s7 nandermo would’ve been just….together….doing whatever it is their plans are…

also the ep description for the finale being about a surprise twist leading to a change of plans has not left my head.

will it be that the show in-universe got cancelled? will it be anything relevant to the s6 plot, or is the last episode more of an epilogue? i’m wracking my brain for every possible theory & am interested to hear other’s thoughts!

also keep thinking about the bts pic harvey posted of the gazebo being lit in really cute fairy lights. What Does It All Mean!

okay. so, obviously, i thought that last night’s episode was great. i wish that nandor & guillermo would be allowed to hug or kiss or something, but i still enjoyed the episode!

i’m also still fully onboard the nandermo will go canon train. i dont think it’s fair to say that they’re canon yet, but they’re like…one step away.

to me, nandor’s search for love arc is still not finished. every other plot line (that i can think of) has been resolved prior to the finale. i think that it could have been considered resolved in episode 9, had they not included that scene where he offers to sacrifice himself to the baron. like if they would have had it so that he heard what the guide was saying to him, then yeah. sure, nandor’s “search for love” was just a big life lesson for him about how he’s only about the conquest. but it still, to me, feels like one of the only unfinished plot points.

for years, we as fans have talked about how nandor & guillermo couldn’t possibly get together until they were on equal footing. it’s something the writers have said, & it’s something that has been discussed since, like, season 3.

last night’s episode finally, Finally put them on equal ground. guillermo’s a fully fledged member of the fam, just because he’s guillermo. not because he’s a vampire, or a vampire killer, but just because they love him & he loves them.

it was a really, really great episode (especially nandor almost killing jordan, they should’ve let him do that tbh) & i enjoyed it a lot. despite the weird justice league vibes at the end, nandor & guillermo have finally found their way to equal footing together. i think nandor still just hasn’t realized that the love he’s been searching for has been right under his nose.

will absolutely post something about the episode tomorrow but cant stop thinking about how they dropped the little tidbit at the beginning of the season that the baby fish guillermo creatures secrete a milk that has healing properties (shoutout to the people on wwditstwt who brought this up again bc i forgot about it)

but like. really thinking that’s going to come back in the finale because hello?? how else would guillermo get to be immortal with his vamily forever??

also thinking about the video of harvey when they asked about guillermo not being a vampire & not getting to live forever & he said “anything is possible, babyyyyy”

yeah im maybe reading too much into this but i had to get these thoughts out before i go to bed!!! also still more convinced than ever of a time jump in the finale btw

do you think they’ll do a callback to that line in exit interview when laszlo says he needs to tell guillermo something he’s never told anyone before.

& do you think if they do, it’ll be laszlo telling guillermo that he has never seen nandor care for someone before the way that he cares for guillermo. that laszlo can see that nandor needs guillermo the way he needs nadja. that he knows that nandor couldn’t go on living without guillermo, & that he knows that feeling all too well?

just thinking about some things before the last two episodes ever 🥲

been rewatching some of my favs lately & noticing how many sitcoms include time jumps. feeling as if wwdits will do that in the finale episode & wondering if anyone else feels similarly?? it just seems like Such a common storytelling device shows use right at the finish line

So I was thinking about this line "Right under my nose" that Nandor said in today's ep, which he did say many times before

And it got me thinking who is the person that stands under his nose? Who has that height?

Of all the people, only Guillermo is shorter in height than Nandor's nose

okay that was easily one of the best episodes of the season, maybe even the series? wow it was so fun to watch & made me laugh a lot

also the way my heart started racing when the guide was rejecting nandor…i really expected her to point out that yes, the love you’ve been searching for HAS been under your nose the whole time, it just isn’t me! even without her saying that, once the guide rejected him all i could think was “oh wow they’re really going to do it huh” because why else would they keep having nandor mention that the love he’s been searching for has been right in front of him? why else would they go to such lengths to make it clear that that *isn’t* guillermo’s boss anymore?

like they’re really gonna go for it! idk how exactly it’s going to happen or how vague it’s going to be, but i do think we’re definitely getting a realization/confession of feelings. im SO excited.

also could write an entire essay on the parallels between nandermo & ladja but a big one i noticed was when nadja was killing the cemetery vampires & how proud laszlo was vs. guillermo killing the barista vampires & nandor looking at him Like That.

anyways. 2 more eps left of the silly vampire show & i’m gonna be so sad when it’s over but also can’t wait to see what they do!

as we get closer to the end of the season, the more i have ideas swirling around about how i think they’ll wrap things up, & i think last night’s episode was probably the last “filler” that we’ll get.

so with every new episode, i subscribe even more to the “guillermo is an energy vampire” theory. in last night’s episode i thought that it was odd that he seemed confused about falling asleep, and it felt like one of those things that you think doesn’t matter, but turns out to be a little clue for later. this season feels veeeery similar to s3 to me, in terms of storytelling.

i have also been thinking about how the description for the finale is just “a twist causes a change of plans” or something along those lines.

my personal belief is that we’ll get confirmed EV guillermo in ep 10, & i think that guillermo’s promotion will likely be about him leaving staten island to go work elsewhere. the twist in the finale will be that oh, shocker, nandor has been in love with guillermo this whole time, & the change in plans is either nandor goes with him or guillermo decides to stay.

i’m really eager to see how they wrap everything up, & this just feels right to me. even if i’m completely wrong, i’ve still really enjoyed this season so far & i think that the last three episodes are going to be gut-wrenching <3
