The reception was beautiful. Freya’s long, white dress made her look absolutely stunning as she danced along to the music with Josh. The boys and I had all witnessed as two of our best friends finally tie down the knot. Speeches were made, tears were shed and alcohol was drunk. The night was absolutely perfect for everyone involved, every one was happy and celebrating and it was wonderful to behold. 

I sat at the table discussing how lovely the cake looked with Emily when I was interrupted by the best man himself, Tobi.

“May I have this dance?” He asked, holding his hand out to me.

I couldn’t help but notice how good he looked in a suit, it was quite different from his usual fashionable track suits. I excused myself from mine and Emily’s conversation and took his hand as he lead me to the dance floor. 

He pulled me flush against him with his arms around my waist and his face nuzzled into my neck. I wrapped my arms around his neck as we swayed along to the music that accompanied us.

“You look beautiful” he mumbled. 

“"I look like a fucking Parma Violet” I stated, referring to the lilac dress I was wearing.

“"I love Parma Violets” he chuckled. I giggled along with him as he pulled away from my neck to look me in the eyes. His deep brown eyes wandered mine, watching them intently as if contemplating something.

“"I promise you something” he said, “"One day, if you’ll let me, this will be us”.

He said it as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Honestly, I had never though about marrying Tobi but I knew that I loved him and that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. The more I imagined it, marrying him, having children and growing old together, the more I fell in love with the idea.

“"Oh yeah?” I ask, trying to hide the mix of shock and excitement in my voice, but failing miserably.

“"Yeah. You’ll walk down the aisle wearing a gorgeous white dress, and I’ll stand there at the alter wondering the same thing that I wonder every morning. How did I get so lucky to have a girl like Y/N to love me?. Then I will stand there and swear to love you for the rest of my life and spend every waking moment trying to make you happy. Both of our mums will cry and we’ll have a reception where the lads will make speeches and we’ll cut the cake and dance just like we are right now. Ever since our first date I knew that I wanted to make you my wife one day” 

Tears threatened to cascade down my cheeks as I envisioned the day in which he had just described to me.

“"Is that your way of saying that you want to marry me someday?” I giggle.

“Yes” he nodded

“"Well, then I promise you this. If and when you do propose, I will say yes. Because it would be an honour to get married to you Tobi and I will spend everyday giving you all of my love and everything that I am” I stated

“"I love you” he said, holding on to my waist as if he was afraid that if he let go that I would disappear forever.

“"I love you more” I replied as we both leaned in to each other’s embrace.

so a lot has happened since i last posted and i guess i met simon and tobi :-)

me and tobi are basically best friends now and i spent a lot of the day with him 😂 i also stole his hat when he got on the floor and his hat fell off

all in all tho tobi is the sweetest person ever and i genuinely love him so much and the same with simon but the second time i met him he was a bit awkward but eh so yeah i’m so glad they came to sitc because it made my day ❤️

Ok so we all know that Simon never takes his shirt off for the camera. And I totally get that. I’m not saying he has to give a reason or that he should take his shirt off because it’s his body and his life and we have no right to force him to do anything really. I just can’t get this one thing out of my head. I have seen pictures of his back, a little bellow his collar bone, and his lower stomach and it made me think. What if Simon doesn’t have nipples? I know that chances of that being true are small but it’s just really funny to imagine that being true.
