the story of pearl’s entire life series career “she literally didn’t do that”

This is analysis of C!Pearl

Scott thinks she’s unreliable/untrustworthy because she went to the Nether in episode 1 of DL? She gave him two of her lives in Last Life. She says herself that he knows she took care of him and would have done it again. She literally wasn’t untrustworthy.

Martyn blames her for Cleo not wanting him and says that the Nether was her bad idea? She literally didn’t do that. It was Martyn’s idea to go to the Nether and she was initially reluctant but agreed in the hopes of finding resources.

Pearl decided to torture Scott for leaving her? She literally didn’t do that. She decided to torture Scott because he was getting hurt to annoy her (Cleo and Scott ax critted each other before Pearl ever touched snow). And there was even moments where he stood in the powdered snow with her/at the same time and they played chicken about it. AND the powdered snow to torture soulmates wasn’t her idea, it was Scar’s. She used it way more than he did because he was at least somewhat on good terms with Grian, but still. It’s not like she got the idea to hurt yourself to bother your soulmate from no where.

Pearl caused Ren and BigB’s death? She literally didn’t do that. She pranked them by stealing their horse (with every plan to return it) and when Ren looked outside to see her, he looked at an enderman. She even saved their stuff for them and put it in a chest.

Pearl caused Joel and Etho’s death? She literally didn’t do that. They were warned that they would take fall damage doing the fishing rod trick and decided to have both of them participate anyways, knowing that both of them would be taking fall damage.

Pearl went crazy in DL and started killing people? She literally didn’t do that. She killed the only people left she wasn’t allied with and then Cleo after Martyn attacked first.

And then, somehow, at least in Wild Life, her reputation has gotten reversed?

Pearl literally wasn’t pathetic or useless in Wild Life. Yes, she didn’t get a high kill count, but Pearl isn’t known for being the most deadly player, she’s known for being the highest placing player. Her skill set is focused on survival, not killing. The only reason people think she didn’t do as well in Wild Life is because they have the idea of who Pearl should be from Double Life still stuck in their head. And because she spent a solid amount of time calling herself pathetic and trying to get a kill, which she didn’t manage. There’s honestly a lot of low kill counts in Wild Life because of how many deaths were caused by the gimmicks (which is part of why I don’t like Wild Life as much cough cough) She got a totem! She made it to fifth place! She did pretty well in my opinion!
