I missed underwear talk, whoops... (reposted because i can't even tell what's a readmore and what's a horizontal line break, and i couldn't delete the later. thanks tumblr update)

Ayako rarely even attempt to match her bras and panties, preferring functionality over appearances (unless she's in a comfortable relationship*). Depending on her level of activity, she might wear a sports bra, or she might forgo one entirely if she doesn't expect to be leaving the house. Panties tend to have cute emblems or patterns printed on them, and she prefers pastel colors, although she has a few darker pairs.

(* in which case she will wear Monobear-colored lingerie that belonged to a Mastermind, in front of her own Mastermind boyfriend. truthfully though she probably overstretched the thong and tore something on it when she tried to take it off)

Manolo tends to wear loose boxers the most, but also has a good mix of boxer briefs with them. Contrary to popular belief, they do not have silly video game motifs on them. His dakimakura with the joystick boxer briefs is not factual. That said, after getting involved with Kenshin and Iori, he's become more adventurous with appealing styles, fabrics and patterns. lbr he probably wears all sorts of really nice things for them if he doesn't have to leave the house

Kenichi almost always wears boxer briefs, and he doesn't usually try to focus on wearing anything especially attractive. He has a few nicer pairs set aside for when he isn't working, but if he expects to be on his feet in a kitchen all day, he's going to pick a pair he knows is supporting but not overly tight at the bands.

Manolo had some past experience with dancing games, but he had been out of practice with them for years; it was different from playing rhythm games with buttons and styluses when he had to rely on the rest of his body's reflexes and endurance. P.K., on the other hand, specialized in dancing and only knew two game titles before she met Manolo. They figured that if they teamed up for a few songs in Just Dance, they could combine their talents to form one full 5-Star player.

It was not nearly so simple.

P.K. may not have ever touched a Wii controller before in her life, and she was rather mystified that Manolo had a separate Wii dedicated just to North American games. But with a game that relied on motion and not buttons, she had no need to ponder region locking or memorize different inputs. She could just dance along with the instructions on the screen, and so long as she didn't sling the remote across the room (something that did happen a few times), she could dance as she usually did, her body trained for swift, repeated movements.

Manolo's only relevant skill was understanding rhythm, and even that was more mental than physical. In other words, P.K. had every advantage over him, aside from her insisting that he was the one to navigate the menus.

Each song that went by seemed to widen the gap between their skill levels: Manolo was beginning to grow tired, but apparently it was all just a warm-up for P.K., who playfully taunted him with signed words she herself had taught him so that he would know when she was taunting him. Showing no indication that she was slowing down, she gestured to the screen again, listening to the samples and nodding excitedly when Manolo showed her a song she wanted to try.

The song itself – Oath – didn't really stand out to Manolo, but it was a couple's dance and P.K. was most enthusiastic about those. As the dance progressed, he realized he needed to be mindful of his balance: There were a few portions involving leaning in toward the partner, made a touch more difficult by the fact that they had to maneuver the limited floor space of his room and stood closer than they should have been. While he was rarely significantly taller than his peers, with P.K. there was enough of a height difference that he could imagine hurting her should his balance tip forward and cause him to fall on her.

For her part, P.K. had complete confidence in him, not shying away as they met each other with high fives and circled around each other; the only sign of hesitance came when Manolo accidentally clipped her in the shoulder as he circled his arms around, and even then she was almost immediately back into rhythm, taking a moment to stick her tongue out at Manolo.

Even he had grown comfortable with these dances, as sluggish as some of his movements were thanks to building fatigue, and it was easy to fall into the flow of the beat. While others might have believed that he and P.K. had little in common on the surface, they both had a vivacious outlook that endeared them to each other. In some ways she reminded him of a more outgoing Hikari, more eager to break out into unfamiliar territory if it meant finding more things to do with her friends.

Manolo had just a few seconds to recognize what the ending of the dance would involve: Apparently P.K. was to return a light shove that Manolo was supposed to give her earlier. Supposed to, as neither of them had expected that twist on the high-fives. But they were ready this time, and Manolo was prepared to do the dramatic twirl away from P.K. as soon as he felt pressure against his hand—

And then P.K. pushed him quite a bit harder than he had anticipated.

Manolo was taken off his balance completely and stumbled back onto the floor. Thankfully, the nearest furniture to him was his bed, so his head slammed down on the relatively soft side of his mattress as he collapsed on the ground.

Before he could regain his bearings, P.K. was upon him, kneeling down to him and signing something that he couldn't remember the meaning of at the moment. Realizing quickly that he wasn't about to respond, she cautiously hugged him, her hands patting up and down his arms in a gesture he could understand, especially with the concern reflected in her dark eyes – 'are you alright?'

"I'm fine, really," he assured her, rubbing his head a little. The stinging pain of the fall was already starting to fade.

Glad to know that she hadn't injured Manolo in any way, P.K. hugged him tighter, lips curled in a smile and shoulders shaking with silent laughter. He couldn't help but react in the way he often reacted to Hikari's hugs – a ruffle of her hair, and a quick peck on her forehead.

For the third time that day, P.K. was taken off-guard, and as she blinked slowly, only then did Manolo realize he went a little too far with that. P.K. had long accepted that Manolo was simply unable to be attracted to her the way she had been attracted to him, but he was worried that his absent-minded peck might have dredged up some of those feelings.

P.K. blinked once more, and then she was grinning again, hands and fingers moving in words Manolo could recognize this time, especially once she pointed to the abandoned TV nearby. { Will kick your butt again. Get up. }

[ 9: Jawline Kiss ]

Truthfully, Manolo hadn't been deeply into fighting games a few months ago. Sure, he did casual playthroughs if he didn't have any more urgent plans going on, but rarely did he revisit a game with the intention of turning it into a speedrun. In theory, it was the sort of thing right up his alley – he could memorize which moves could knock out an opponent quickly and what timing he needed to stick to in order to pull it off. He never could find a game that really clicked with him, however. They were fun projects to spend maybe a week on, before shelving it and moving on to something else. Maybe it was the tendency to rely on just one strategy, one special combo that'd cut through health like a knife in butter.

Or maybe it was the fact that the games often put emphasis on multiplayer interation above single-player campaigns. And most players probably wouldn't just lie down and eat a rapid barrage of a single move. One match had so many personal influences that no single magic combination could breeze him to a win.

Playing against Hideaki was good practice, at least. Manolo was quickly picking up on strategies and learning how to react to different scenarios. Even then, however, there was such a huge skill gap that Manolo was constantly losing, regardless of what games they played – progress could only be counted in how much health he could knock off before being inevitably defeated.

And even though Manolo was used to just laughing off a loss, picking himself back up, and taking another stab at his goal, having so many losses to his name in short order was starting to chip away at his morale. At least Hideaki wasn't rubbing it into his face; he was grateful that he was trying to work with how new and unknowledgable Manolo was to this.

Manolo found himself trying to clear out his nerves as another round opened, even as he watch the damage build up. He glanced from the screen to Hideaki, who was focused intensely on the match, trying to read Manolo's actions – even though at the moment he was a touch distracted from the game and was only following a vague pattern of buttons that seemed to get passable results. Seeing that look of concentration and dedication… Well, that was inspiring in a way that helped restore some of Manolo's morale.

He leaned over to Hideaki and pressed a quick kiss right onto the side of his jaw – the prickle of stubble was an entirely new feeling. Interesting, but it was the reaction to the kiss that he was looking for.

Hideaki's concentration broke in an instant, with a cry of surprise and the muffled sound of the controller being dropped onto the carpet. And this was what Manolo was looking for: He quickly turned back to the television, seeing an opening to make a total comeback, finishing off the final third of Hideaki's health and gaining his first KO.

He looked back to Hideaki, smiling a little bit. "That fight didn't count, don't worry. Sorry about that."

Hideaki was still stunned by the kiss, currently unable to express anything more than a stammer. And that was an infectious response: As the game ticked away minutes of an apparent stalemate, Manolo just gripped his controller tightly, waiting for a coherent reply as his cheeks and ears burned with growing embarrassment.

Maybe he should have stuck to safe strats and tried winning in a more legit way that didn't involve distractions.

[ 3: Nose Kiss ]

Ayako bit her tongue lightly as she carefully folded the sheet of paper into section. 3D crafts like sculpting and origami were a bit beyond her skillset, but she could at least make accurate folds without tearing up the delicate paper. That said, she couldn't help but worry that this lily wouldn't come out looking like her trial run – could she get away with a lined-paper flower?

Glancing from the instructions on her laptop to the half-formed lily under her hands, she distracted herself by looking over to her workmate across the table. "How are yours holding up, Mitsu?"

Mitsu did not immediately respond, carefully running her scissors along the pencil guidelines on her own paper. It was agreed that they would try different ways of making flowers, and Mitsu wanted to try a pattern that involved cutting out petals and gluing them together.

Once the petal fell away from the patterned sheet, already marked with holes from other petals she had cut out, she up at Ayako, smiling. "So far, so good!  I'm done cutting this one out!"

She watched Mitsu as she scraped the petals against the scissors, curling them. The two of them had agreed to help provide some decorations for the upcoming festival – they hadn't decided yet if they were going to work on any specific booth, but they were sure that plain flowers would be of use to a lot of people.

Ayako's interest drifted from the petals to Mitsu, who was now arranging and gluing the petals together. She couldn't help but hope that she was having fun with this project. It'd be nice to learn more about physical crafts if she had a partner with her, and she always did seem to work well with Mitsu.

She stood up from her seat, walking around the side of the table and approaching Mitsu so that she could get a closer look at the rose she had put together. Mitsu was having a bit of trouble adjusting the very center of it into a natural-looking curl, but otherwise the flower was quite pretty, especially with such a subtle spiral pattern running deep red on the orange petals.

"It looks good! I have some clear nail polish in my room – I heard you can use that to preserve paper, but that's up to you."

"Hm… But I-I'm sure we can find something else in the crafts room that would work better? We have to wait for this to dry first a-anyway, but thank you for the idea… Oh?"

Ah, so Ayako was still leaning in even closer to Mitsu, her attention once more away from the flower. Ayako smiled shyly, knowing that her approach hadn't gone unnoticed, but she couldn't flee now. She dipped towards Mitsu, placing a soft kiss on the bridge of her nose. Instinctively, one of Mitsu's hands rose up to her glasses to readjust them.

"Be careful, Ayako!"

"M'sorry. But you really did make a cute flower." She pressed a more carefully-placed kiss against Mitsu's nose, as if this was her thanks for making a damn fine paper rose.

Mitsu returned the kiss this time, pecking her on her chin and rubbing her arm with her free hand. "Thank you. H-How is yours coming along?"

Ayako rested into Mitsu's embrace, not yet willing to admit that she had completely forgotten what step she was on in folding her flower.

With that said, Ayako is from Inzai, Chiba! She's never moved homes, and she hasn't traveled too far away from Chiba.

Manolo was born in the Philippines (Naga, Cebu) but moved to Japan (Nagoya, Aichi) when he was twelve due to an emergency in his father's family.

Kenichi has always lived in Hokkaido, but was born in Asahikawa. Due to Reasons, he moved to Hakodate when he was seven.

You also asked about seasons, too? I’ll answer both of those, and I’m going to go with the fall. It’s cool but not bitterly cold, and it’s a good excuse to stay home with family and huddle together while you eat comfort food.”

"I’m going to agree with fall for the same reasons, although early winter is nice too – cool and mild, and a good break from the humid summers. The trees start changing colors, too, so the bursts of red and orange are a welcome sight!

As for food I can cook well, um… I’m pretty good with soups and stews, at least? I like not having to be on them constantly, and it ties in with having some warm food on a cold day.”

"I’m all about summers! Yeah, it gets hot and wet and gross sometimes, but I have a lot of memories about cooling off at the beach with my friends. People have been looking at us for years like they were anticipating both of us becoming Hope’s Peak students, and it’s only gotten more intense ever since I got in. Hanako’s teachers keep prodding at her, asking if she wants to get into crafts or botany or cultivation or floriculture, and even our parents ask if she’s thought of what kind of career she wants.

But I don’t think she wants to deal with plants as anything more than a hobby, and… I-I get this feeling she’s taking out her frustration on me… I just want to be able to talk to her like I used to…”

"I don’t really have anyone specific in mind at the moment, but I try to keep in contact with many the chefs I worked under or served dishes to. I want to keep connections strong so that they can recommend me for any positions they might have open down the road. Sure, I’m pretty much working for a television network at this point, showing up on a lot of their programs, but I want to make sure I have plans for the future.
