Lancer RPG mechs I’ve been commissioned to draw!

IPS-N Gibraltar, a pared down, mass production mech designed both for export as well as internal use by both Northstar Galactic Command and Trunk Security. Elements from the Tortuga have been taken to amplify the close-quarters capability of the frame, however it’s smaller and much more simple in construction.

Recently, a stock of these machines, among other mechs, has been loaded into the Trunk Security carrier 3030-Whiskey, a Tawa class operating in the long rim initially as a mobile anti-pirate base, but more recently as a vessel to ensure the acquisition of the anomalous asteroid known as ‘Crockpot’

A product of a successfully failed cloning experiment by a fellow UNI asset (and alleged former/current HORUS member) Trivia seems to have inhereted both Hecate's martial skills and her Aunic/Apollonian affinity with the mysterious Firmament, allowing the clone a similar degree of militant prowess and paracausal ability.

Personality wise Trivia is a stark departure from Hecate's soft spoken and careful nature. The clone's short and violent time spent conscious, along with a brain full of muddy impersonal memories, leaving her with a wildly shortened temper. What Hecate might brush off or ignore Trivia will confront head on, and usually with much more cursing.

There’s two of them….

Front, Top and Side of the Hopper GEV. The main propulsive force comes from the pair of hefty turboprops mounted on the fat, squat wings, forming the basis of the wing in ground effect allowing the craft to slide above the terrain at high speed. One can also see the air intakes located below the fuselage powering a tertiary engine providing additional lift and thrust meaning the hopper can take on a wider set of cargoes.

Below the cockpit sits the main survey array for mapping out the terrain as it swoops over. If needed, it can also produce sufficient light to illuminate the ground if needed to during night flights, although this is usually frowned upon as the light could disrupt animal life more than necessary.

On the rear is a small helipad which is usually fitted with a light dronecopter (if one is loaded at all). Such vehicles can loiter and examine patches of ground for a longer period of time, even able to take small samples if necessary. It obviously isn’t a replacement for ground-based science teams, but it can provide extra context for ecologists.

Its actually a couple of hours before new year’s here, but happy new year to everyone. I haven’t posted much to Tumblr yet, but I’ll hopefully get to getting out more stuff next year. Depending on circumstances, I might post some other content, too.

Well Twitter seems to be in for a shaky weekend, to any viewing this message from there hello! I'll start to move posts and such (writing, comissioned art, game stuff) over here once I have some time to gather it all and credit it to the relevant artists

I think nearly all of them are over here as well at any rate! So shouldn't be a problem at all, silver linings and all that I suppose
