Tricks That Help You to Improve Your Website's User Experience l Wowpilot
1. Optimize Your Page Speed.
Tumblr media
One of the most frustrating experiences for users of the web is waiting for a page to load for too long. With the rise of mobile devices, people are accessing content all over the world on many different platforms. While browsing online at Starbucks or while watching TV on their laptop, they expect a fast result for the content that they want.
When they don't get it, they usually bounce. Slow page load is an interrupting experience for the user and it can be a source of frustration and often users simply don't have the time to wait.
2. Identify the Personality of Your Brand.
Tumblr media
Even if you are not a big company with the resources and wherewithal to spend on ingenious marketing, you still can come across as interesting and impress your customers if you put your creative juices to work. To identify the brand personality that you want to have, it makes sense for you to ask questions to self about your business. A few simple questions can give you the required inspiration to craft your brand personality.
3. Make Sure Your Site Loads Quickly.
Tumblr media
“Aim to keep website load time to [a few] seconds or less,” says Gabriel A. Mays, founder, Just Add Content, a website platform for businesses. “Your biggest threat isn't a competitor, it's the back button. If your website loads too slowly, customers won't wait around. They'll go elsewhere.”
And don’t forget mobile users. “Studies reveal that nearly two-thirds of cell phone owners in the U.S. now use their phone as their primary access to the Internet. “As a result, companies need to enable all aspects of the customer relationship – from browsing to purchasing to engaging with the brand – to have mobile functionality.
4. Make Your Calls to Action (CTAs) Easy to Find.
Tumblr media
Nothing is more frustrating to your customers than being directed to take action, and then not being able to figure out how to do it.  Make calls to action clearly visible and easy to use.  Select colors for call-to-action buttons which make them stand out from the background, and use verbs like “Join,” “Learn,” “Discover,” and “Start,” to make your intentions clear.
5.  Analyze Customer Journey.
Tumblr media
Successful companies are always trying to improve the way they treat customers. The easiest way to do this? Analyze the data you already have. Get to know your customers' habits, histories, and areas of interest. Look for opportunities to make touchpoints more seamless, and also look for ways to be more proactive. The more you know, the better you can tailor future service offerings or products, which not only improves the experience, it might also increase their likelihood to support your business. Track customer behavior on a regular basis and analyze it to respond adequately.
6. Develop a Self-Service Experience.
Self-service resources help provide support information for customers that they can find themselves. Typically, those resources include FAQ sheets or pages where answers to commonly asked questions are posted. This enables users to have immediate and correct responses to simple questions, which improves the customer experience and leads to customer satisfaction. Companies must be careful to ensure self-service resources are clear and complete; otherwise, this tactic may have the opposite effect and will lead to frustrated customers.
7. List Your Bussiness website to Bussiness Listing Websites.
Small business and niche directories can be an easy way to get your business in front of as many potential customers as possible. The most popular search engine is a natural place to start when it comes to small business listings. Google lets you add some basic details like your business name, location and hours so customers see that information when they Google your business.
Here are Some Business listing Websites:-
With so many review sites online, registering on all of them would be a full-time job. As a business owner whose time is at a premium choose the review sites that are most relevant for your business. Let’s take a look at which would be the most useful for you.
AMAZON – With so many similar products from different sellers on Amazon, you need to stand out from the crowd. Shiny gold stars and great customer reviews are the keys to doing this. Amazon operates a five-star rating scale governed by the percentage of reviews per star, followed by most helpful and most recent customer reviews.
GOOGLE MY BUSINESS – These are the reviews that show on the right-hand side of Google’s search results. Google’s Pigeon algorithm update uses location and distance ranking criteria to improve local search results. As a business owner, you should ensure that your website is correctly optimized for search with verified accounts on local directories, most importantly Google My Business. A verified local Google+ page enables you to respond to reviews while reviews, comments, images, etc. boost your search rankings. The bonus is that the Google Maps app uses the information and reviews, so the more content, the more reputable your business will appear.

How to Get E-commerce Product Reviews IN 2019?
·80% of shoppers trust online reviews the same way they’d trust a personal recommendation from a family member or friend.
·25% more money on shopping is spent by users on businesses with excellent reviews.
·90% of users purchased after being influenced by online reviews.
· Nearly 60% of users decide to buy online after reading a positive review.
·65% of shoppers believe star-rating as the most important part of a business.
When you own online business, the credibility of the products and services are extremely important. To enhance the belief of fresh users in your goods, real-time user reviews play a vital role!
The decision of users to invest in a product or not is highly influenced by the feedback given by previous users. They use it to judge whether the product will serve its purpose or not.
When it comes to reviews, there are usually 3 types of businesses:
Type 1: Businesses whose majority part of sales comes from referrals. They do n’t get any online reviews and also don’t care about them.
Type 2: Businesses that consider reviews important and work hard to gain positive reviews.
Type 3: Businesses that consider reviews important and work hard to gain positive reviews, but don’t get many.
Here are some ways to get great user reviews for your online store:
1. Keep Your User Happy:
Tumblr media
A satisfied user is one who is willing to spend the time to review the product and services that you provide, and, is actually your brand ambassador! The user will be interested to give reviews only if they are very happy or very disappointed.
•Deliver products on time and also keep in mind the quality of the products.
•Provide good user service before and after purchasing the products. Try to resolve the issue on the first contact only.
2. Convert the Satisfied Users into an Online Advocate:
Tumblr media
Now, after you have created a happy user for yourself, ask for reviews! You can get user reviews in many ways:
•Phone: After the user has started using the product for a week or so, send them an email or give a call requesting for a review. Don’t wait too long to get feedback from the user!
•Email: At first, try experimenting by sending them different types of emails and according to the responses, you get to decide which ways are the best.
•Websites: Allow people to leave a review for your online store. Be brave! It would give social proof to potential users, who look up your Page on Facebook. This, in turn, will result in positive publicity.
•Use local search directories: Yelp, Merchant Circle, and ShopperChecked are very good options for local search directories. They allow people to write reviews on various stuff. Share the good reviews you have received on these sites on your testimonial pages.
•Apps: Various review apps available in the market like Yotpo, Judge.me, Stamped.io. They provide various features like email review forms, customized post-purchase emails, mobile optimization, email scheduling, etc.
3. Make it an Effortless Task:
Tumblr media
Customers are happy to contribute only when you take all the work out of it. Don’t make them jump hoops by going through several pages or asking them to log in. Make it an easy task for them.
Keep your priority objective clear, that is, getting product feedback for your online store’.
Provide them with direct links or URLs to your review profiles in follow-up emails and newsletters mentioning that “You can find us on Facebook” or provide guidelines on how they can review your products and how it can be beneficial for them
4. Negative Feedback makes us Better or Bitter:
Tumblr media
It’s important to make your users feel that you will enjoy their compliments and take care of their complaints as well. Always respond with a solution to negative reviews.
This way whenever a buyer comes across a negative review but also sees that you have responded with a solution or apologized in a public forum.
This will leave a positive impression on the buyer and make him feel that user satisfaction is your topmost priority.
So, respond to all reviews — negative or positive. A simple “thank you” comment, a Tweet or Like will be sufficient.
 Conclusion:
Getting user reviews is the best way of marketing your online store. Positive reviews are a result of good user service. But don’t be disheartened by negative reviews. Use negative reviews to your advantage.

How to increase business visibility on Google?
Gaining one of the top positions in Google search results for your top keywords may be a tough ask. However, there are some simple steps you can take to help Google recognize your business, index your website and recognize why you should be on the first page.
1. Verify your Google My Business profile:
Registering your business with Google My Business can help your website appear in relevant search queries that occur near the geographic area of your business location.
Once you have registered, Google sends out a postcard with a unique pin to your business address – this is used to verify your business with Google. The verification gives you a stronger chance of appearing in the search results as Google will now recognize your business as a legitimate local business.
2. Register your website with Google Search Console:
Google Search Console is a must for any business hoping to get more website traffic from search engines.
· Go to Google Search Console.
· First you will need to log in. If you have Google Analytics, log in using the same details as you use to access your Analytics account. Alternatively, you can log in with a Google account. If you don’t have a Google account, you will have to create one before you can continue.
· Once you have successfully logged in, click the “Add A Property” button at the top of the page.
· Enter the URL of your website, then click continue.
· Next you’ll be asked to verify that you own the website in one of four ways:
 3. “Sell the Click” through well-written Meta Titles, Meta Descriptions & URLs:
When you find yourself browsing through the organic search results in Google, you’ll usually see three components of a listing; the page title, the description, and the page URL.
Meta Tags: Meta tags are a form of metadata that describes the content of a web page to search engines within its source code. Important meta-tags most important for e-commerce websites include the meta title.
Meta Description: Meta descriptions are an extremely important part of any SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategy. The meta description is a 160-character summary for the content of each page on your site. You can edit these descriptions using the meta description tag, and they show up below your page titles in search engine results.
URL’s: URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator and is used to specify addresses on the World Wide Web. A URL is the fundamental network identification for any resource connected to the website.
Ensure that your page titles and meta descriptions contain:
· Accurate, concise descriptions of your page content
· For optimum effectiveness, meta descriptions should be 70-156 characters long, while page titles should be between 45 – 65 characters long, including spaces
· Your meta descriptions and titles should be concise and contain your best keywords
· Make sure each page of your website has its own, unique title and meta description
Ensure that your URLs are structured properly:
· To correctly render in all browsers, URLs must be shorter than 2,083 characters.
4. Use Schema Markup on your website:
Structured data markup is a method to ‘describe’ your content to search engines in a way they can understand it.
When Google or other Search Engines Crawl a webpage their primary goal is to find out what the page is all about.
In order to make their job easier and faster, major search engines have agreed to a set of common standards, also known as schemas, that cover many content types including articles, videos, images but also different types of entities like organizations, local businesses, people and many more.
5. Provide quality, informative and useful content on your website:
Provide quality: Google clearly believes that “a picture is worth a thousand words.” Rather than telling users exactly what your sign looks like with two paragraphs of copy, just take a great picture.
When users come visit your website, browse through multiple pages, and spend time reading your content, Google will take their actions into account and the positive user metrics will benefit the ranking of your website.
Quality content is not just good for your search engine ranking; it’s good for the user experience on a site, the overall brand image — and in the long-term, quality content also  have a good impact on sales
Alternatively, you can also use website review sites to increase your branding and website visibility which also provides social proof of your business’s authenticity.
Most popular website review is:
Reviews.io
Shopperchecked.com
Trustpilot
Conclusion:
To summarize, the best way to build a website for optimum exposure in search is to make it easy for search engines and users to navigate your site and understand what your content is about.

How to Add Google Reviews to Your Website and Why you need them in 2019?
Google is often the first point of contact between a user and a business. From finding businesses nearby to planning itineraries for upcoming trips to looking up a forgotten phone number, we plug keywords into Google to help us with anything we want to know. And if we want to find out how one business compares to another, we Google to find out about other people’s experiences.
Recognizing the need, Google has rolled out its own reviews feature, which allow users to write reviews directly on the business’s Google or Google Map listing. Since Google reviews are obviously favoured by the search engine and show up upon every relevant result, if your business wants to have a good presence on Google, the best place to start is by getting more Google reviews.
How to Add Google Reviews to Your Website?
If you only copy and paste reviews to your site, you remove the legitimacy from the post, and you may run afoul of content usage rights. However, there is a way to embed these reviews directly from your business page.
Sign in to the Google account controlling your business listing.
1.    Load your Google+ business page.
2.    Click the share icon located in the lower right-hand corner of the review.
3.    Click the options arrow in the top right corner of the shared post.
4.    Choose "Embed Post" from this menu.
5.    Copy the Header code.
6.    Open the review page of your website in your preferred editor.
7.    Paste the header code between the <head></head> HTML tags on this page.
8.    Copy the Content code.
9.    Paste this code wherever you want to display the review.
Why Google Reviews are Important and how to get Google reviews?
Getting reviews from your user has always been a beneficial exercise for business and When we need information, we go to Google. When we need to find another website, we go to Google. When we want to make a purchase, we go to Google. It’s sort of the internet’s bread and butter. In fact, every day, Google processes over 3.9billion searches.
Knowing that it’s easy to see how a business’s online presence is heavily linked to their success as a whole. Whether it is blog posts, podcasts, social media profiles, or company websites, online exposure can make or break a company. In the past few years, we’ve seen Google business reviews play a bigger and bigger role on whether your site gets more visibility and you get more users. A company’s Google business ratings and reviews end up influencing the users’ decisions to engage with the company and/or purchase their produce.
The easiest way to get Google reviews, simply ask your user to leave a review. Let them know that their feedback is important to you. This can be done through email social media profile, or even offering some sort of incentive to do so, such as a discount. You can also post a specific link on your company’s website that will direct a user to write a review on your Google My Business page
Benifits of Google Reviews:
Make sure you encourage users to leave reviews on your Google My Business listing, especially when they are happy customers. Reviews matter to your local rankings on Google search.
Here are the top 3 Benefits of Google Reviews:
1. Customer Trust:
There have been ample studies to show that up to 88% of user trust testimonials from 3rd party sites as much as personal recommendations because only a potential user will know that the review came directly from the people who wrote them and that you are not faking it.
2.SEO Benefits:
Reports have also shown that Google reviews often increase the click-through rate to your website and are used to reinforce your geographic reviews online which is why they often increase your local search placement on the search engine.
Product/service keywords in the reviews, positive sentiments and the number of reviews all help to trigger trust and signs to search engines to put your business higher.
3. Potential to Increase ROI:
Positive reviews can lead to a better click, which in turn can result in conversions and sales. In addition, the higher you rank, the more potential for sales of your product and service.

So, Here are just a few ideas that you can begin putting in place:
i. Ask Customers for Reviews:
One of the biggest factors in deciding how to ask for reviews is determining which channel you’ll use.
Email is the old standby, but you may have noticed more and more companies relying on SMS messages.
Both have their advantages, but personally, I recommend email for most businesses.
That’s because generally speaking, email has the highest response rates and proves easier to use.
ii. Use Automated Services:
You can do the heavy lifting of manually managing your entire online reputation and review strategy, but you have a business to run and only so much time on your hands.
Thankfully, technology is making it increasingly easy to automate!
Shopper Checked is an automated tool that streamlines the whole process of getting more positive online reviews and customer feedback. The system also gives you clear reports and data so that you can manage your entire online reputation in one place.
iii. Incorporate Getting Reviews into Your Business Process:
For getting more reviews or feedback from the users the sales or the services staff must be motivated all the time to ask feedback from the consumers after buying a product or services.
iv. Make It Fast and Easy:
Time is precious. The fact is many customers are looking for writing a review for them you need to make a simple process, for example, if you want more reviews on your product or services, you can easily add that “ Find us on Yelp” sign at your store, or place a review badge on your website. If you email marketing a lot, then add your email link on Yelp Pages.
v. Building a Great Reputation and Going Forward:
Building a great reputation first you need to get honest, consistent, positive online reviews which is the key to building your online reputation.
To accomplish you need to spread out your presence and build a culture where getting reviews is a business priority. Ask a customer at the right time in a simple process, where u you get more reviews.

What Not to Do When It Comes to Reviews?:
When it comes to reviews two things that we need to keep in mind
i. DON’T TAKE IT PERSONALLY:
Online reviews can be pretty harsh, but don’t get emotional when you respond. You’ll only come across as unprofessional. Keep in mind that your real audience here is the prospective customers who are reading that unflattering review.
ii. DON’T JUST IGNORE IT:
It won’t go away, besides responding to a negative review in a thoughtful and appropriate way will help minimize the damage in the eyes of potential customers. Believe it or not, negative reviews can make your positive reviews seem more credible. They give you an opportunity to show that you’re being proactive and that you care
Getting the Most Value from Your Reviews:
The fact is, 85% of users read online reviews before visiting a business. And 80% of users trust online reviews as much as a personal suggestion.
Users are likely to spend 31% more on business with “excellent” reviews.
70% say that positive reviews make them trust a local business more
85% of users will use a local business if it has at least a 4-star rating
60% of users will take action only after reading a positive review
Reliability (25%), expertise (23%) & professionalism (20%) are the most important reputation traits for a local business
Somebody Left Your Business a One-Star Review. Now What?:
When you receive 1-star reviews one of the best ways to combat the negative reviews is with more positive reviews then use Sales backed to get more positive reviews from the users that buy your products or services every day and simply ask them politely to leave a review.
Example Of Local Reviews:

8 Best Ways to Respond to a Negative Review
Whether you’re responding to negative reviews on Yelp, Google, Facebook or Amazon. In today’s highly digital, super transparent society, simply ignoring a bad review is no longer an option. In fact, it can actually make matters worse. But just responding in itself isn’t enough. What you say, how you say it and even when you post that response all matter, too.
Follow our Step-by-Step Guide to Respond to Negative Reviews.
1. Reply, and reply quickly:
The customer thought it was important enough to post a public review, so treat it as urgent. Respond quickly, show that you’re in tune with customer feedback and that you’re an active participant in your business.
2. Thank them for the review:
If a customer wants to be heard and respected. Starting off your reply with a thank you will accomplish this. Besides, this review may present an opportunity for your company to improve.
3. Validate their feelings:
Don’t try to dismiss their complaints or diminish their experience. Let them know they have the right to feel dissatisfied. Saying that you understand and appreciate their feedback lets the customer know that you care.
4. Keep it polite:
It’s important to take the high road when responding to negative reviews. Even if a customer posts a low-blow, try to keep your response polite, civil and aimed at the problem at hand.
5. Be authentic:
Customers want to know it’s an actual human responding to them — not a Bot or IFTTT mechanism. Try to be as authentic as possible in your replies, and keep the marketing speak and jargon out of the equation.
6. Don’t get upset and lash out:
Responding to a negative review with a defensive or angry outburst only makes things worse. Other customers will see an angry response from business as proof that the negative review is warranted. So take a deep breath and only respond when you are calm and collected. If need be, pass off the task of responding to the negative reviews to someone on your staff who is great at customer service.
7. Choose the best way to respond to each negative review:
There are three choices you can make when responding to a negative review: flag it for inappropriate content, ignore it, or respond to it:
Flagging Inappropriate Reviews: If a review is full of profanity or hateful speech, particularly if it’s racist, xenophobic, or otherwise prejudicial, it most likely violates the terms of whatever review site it’s on.
Ignoring Irrational Reviews: Sometimes a review doesn’t violate the review site’s terms but is purposely mean-spirited without offering any substantive critiques as to why the customer is upset.
Responding to Negative Reviews: If a customer posts a negative review and explains the reasoning behind their negative review, it’s a good idea to respond to it, whether you agree with the critique or not.
8. Make it Right by Doing Apologize:
If a Customer who has a bad experience at a business are just as likely to leave a negative online review as they are to ask to speak to a manager. That being the case, it’s important to treat this as a customer service issue and post a public reply to negative reviews quickly.

Shopper Checked Vs Reviews.IO, Which one is Better?
ShopperChecked is an American company that was founded in 2016 and primarily serves the American, European and Asian markets. With over 300 employees, they are one of the biggest and most established consumer-facing review sites in the world. Their license agreement with Google allows reviews generated on ShopperChecked to be listed as Google Rating SystemIt's free to create a business account on ShopperChecked. The company takes a strong stance on the authenticity of the reviews on their platform, which includes a process by which companies can report reviews for further investigation. The final decision always lies with The Members and Writers of ShopperChecked (not the company), and their terms dictate that they are not obliged to offer any explanation for these decisions.
Reviews.co.uk is a British company founded in 2010, offering a technologically advanced reviews platform. As other review platforms, the company has a consumer-facing side as well as a business offering. With that said, they do state that they do not accept responsibility for "the accuracy or completeness of contributions" made by reviewers, and the company "does not read through or edit contribution added", unlike other review platforms. Their platform stands out by being beautifully designed, making it a joy to use. Being a small company, they seem to take a more personal approach to their clients, who range from small companies to public companies. They offer competitive and transparent pricing, with a 30-day notice period for termination of the contract. Also, their license agreement with Google provides its customers with additional exposure to Google Seller Ratings.

How Online Reviews Can Revive Consumer’s trust on your Products and Services?
The loss of consumer trust is a huge threat to brands. As our economy undergoes the digital transformation in all industries, brands are getting swept up in a massive shift in trust. According to the most recent Edelman Trust Barometer, the US saw a drastic decrease in trust in the last 12 months for both businesses and the media, a 10- and 5-point drop respectively from 2017, putting brand trust at an all-time low.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a brand implement, they face a critical choice to check the compliance box and continue business as usual. A more difficult, but ultimately more rewarding path, is to engage in meaningful conversations with consumers in an open and transparent way. In time, those conversations restore consumer trust, and as trust grows, brands benefit.
Why Trust Is the New Marketing Currency?
This is particularly important in the digital age: We're now on pace to see 60 percent of retail transactions happening online, and face-to-face interactions are on the decline. That's why trust is more important than ever. Yet, at the same time, trust is harder than ever for brands to earn.
Tumblr media
7 Ways to Build Consumer Trust
Trust is the glue that binds together any relationship. This includes the all-important brand-customer bond. When consumers trust your brand, they will feel more confident in your products and services.
In order to buildcustomer trust, don’t need to run a marketing campaign about how reliable your brand is. You have to build trust brick by brick, one piece of content at a time.
BE CONSISTENT IN YOUR BRAND STORY:
Brand storytelling is gaining momentum in the marketing world, and with good reason. Stories are scientifically proven to get a person’s attention. In fact, stories stimulate brain activity. When we read or hear plot points our neurons start firing—and not just in the part of the brain that controls the language center.
But there’s a lot of confusion around the idea of brand storytelling. It’s becoming a term that is getting thrown around a lot—like content marketing—but agencies, companies and thought leaders don’t agree on a definition.
RESOLVE CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS:
When a customer has a complaint, react to it via the most appropriate channels, whether privately through a letter, phone call, or email, or publicly on social media, online reviews, an online forum setting, or somewhere else. Take steps to apologize and correct what you can. This shows there is a genuine desire to provide a value-driven product or service, rather than to simply sell something.
BE PERSONABLE AND PERSONALIZE:
73 percent of global marketers cite a personalized customer experience as a key to success. This is where serious customer data comes into play to help segment your buyers and target your customers with better-personalized marketing.
Few Steps are:
l Use a name to sign off your marketing emails.
l Include pictures and, if appropriate, a short bio of some of the people who work at and/or run your company on your website.
l Create consistent processes for anyone who interacts with customers on social media, in-person, by email or phone. Habits like introducing oneself with a first name and giving a ‘hey, how’s your day been going?’ can go a long way in creating a sense of intimacy and trust.
l Consider the tone and style of your content – blog posts, landing pages, emails, video – would a more down-to-earth feel make your brand feel more authentic? This approach doesn’t work for all industries but it will put customers at ease for others.
l Use videos of your staff – interviews, live-streaming their creative process, instructional content.
l When appropriate, such as with long-term customers, write a personal letter.
DEMONSTRATE TRANSPARENCY:
Transparency is essential not just for your relationships with your customers, but also with employees, investors, and other stakeholders.
A transparent workplace shares many traits with a functional strong friendship. The website Young Entrepreneur defines the five characteristics of a transparent workplace as communication, honesty, regular feedback, respect and admitting wrong. Regarding communication, for example, the website emphasizes erring on the side of communicating too frequently, rather than allowing gaps in communication.
USE SOCIAL PROOF ON YOUR WEBSITE
Social proof is one of those tactics in marketing that seems too easy.
90 percent of consumers trust recommendations from friends and family. This holds even more relevance today with social media.
70 percent of consumers claim to trust online opinions.
72 percent trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations.
JOIN THE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY MOVEMENT:
Millennials, in particular, are pushing for more social responsibility. This generation – 75 million strong – is 66 percent more likely to interact with a brand that addresses social responsibility.
Social responsibility is an ethical theory, in which individuals are accountable for fulfilling their civic duty; the actions of an individual must benefit the whole of society. In this way, there must be a balance between economic growth and the welfare of society and the environment.
BE AUTHENTIC:
Marketers like to toss around the word ‘authenticity’ when describing brands. This new buzzword has played a major part in how brands are defining their missions and creating their processes. Backed by a number of studies, this buzzword is here to stay and will only become more important to the success of your business

How to Handle Customer Complaints through Social Media?
Social media is a public platform. Every time someone writes bad things about the product or services, the whole social media audience can see that.
People will judge you based on several things likes:
How quickly did you respond?
What was your reaction?
What was your customer’s reaction?
How did the whole thing end?
 How quickly should you respond?
Seeing a negative review or a comment try to respond to them as soon as possible. Taking an aim to respond within 10 to 15 mints, which can make a good impression, still, if u can’t reply in 10 to 15 mints try to reply within an hour.
According to marketing strategies, 42% of customers wait up to 60 mints and 32% waits up to 25 to 30 mints.
Among those respondents who have ever attempted to contact a brand, product, or company through social media for customer support, 57% expect the same response time at night and on weekends as during normal business hours.
What should be your reaction?
There is one rule to respond to a complaint politely and calmly.
It’s hard not to take it personally when someone leaves a bad comment or a review. It gets even harder when you’ve been doing your best to satisfy your customers and make your business awesome.
Among negative comments, you will find both: dissatisfied customers and Internet trolls. And while you should try to make things right with your customers, you need to get rid of unwanted commenters first as soon as possible.
So, whether you’re talking with an angry customer or troll, make sure you’re doing the following:
thank them for their opinion
Apologize for inconvenience
Encourage them to send you a private message.
Don’t remove negative comments?
If anyone removes a real comment from an upset customer, it can be sure they will come back: louder, angrier and more frustrated. The second thing is that negative comments show that you’re a true, honest brand.
When customers enter to the profile and see only good opinions which could make them think that you’ve made all these comments up. They probably start digging for other opinions on forums and review sites. Sooner or later they’ll find a negative impact and they might choose your competitor because they feel you’re not honest.
How could you solve customer problems?
Once you get in touch with the customer in private, try to handle the complaint with normal way:
thank a customer for sharing their opinion;
“thank you for taking the time to write/call them,”
briefly apologize, in a short “I’m sorry” should do the trick,
try to explain what happened: be clear, precise and don’t try to excuse yourself  if you’ve made a mistake,
explain what is going to do and when you’re going to get back to them.
By making a customer happy offer them with a small gift or a discount, which can make a good impact on that customer.
What happens on social media stays on Google forever?
Many of those people could be potential customers, suppliers, and partners for your business. Social media platforms provide an open forum in which everyone is invited to collaborate and share ideas, experiences, and interests.
A good reputation on such platforms; such has been the result of posting too much personal and ambiguous information on social networks. We need to understand that whatever we post on social networks will stay on Google forever.
Did you know that 42% of people will tell their friends about a good customer experience on social media?
Also, 92% of respondents reported that a positive recommendation from a friend has the biggest influence on whether they buy a product.
