It was reported on Tuesday, August 5th, that hundreds of thousands of votes for Donald trXmp in 2024 were literally from the mentally retarded. More accurately, votes were cast by mail on behalf of mentally disabled people technically eligible to vote, by people taking care of them in adult foster care homes and other facilities. In some cases, family members were responsible for what is being declared egregious and disturbing voter fraud.

This comes on the heels of reports that the NSA uncovered extensive electronic vote tampering in the election, but that powerful democrats then hid the results of those investigations.

Agreed. Targeting based on those things is wrong without exception.

But what about targeting people who are actively oppressing and abusing you. I'm not saying things are copacetic in S. Africa. There's a lot of work to be done. But following generations of apartheid, a peaceful transition is simply unrealistic. I do wish all of them greater justice, peace, and freedom. But it's just common human history that colonizers get kicked out. I'm not saying it's always morally defensible. But there are practical matters, not just morality, law, fairness, etc. Lots of nice ideas get aside and there's nothing anybody can effectively do about it.

Did might make right when the colonizers showed up, but now it's not okay that it's come time to level the playing field? I don't have any simple answers. Let's all stop pretending these things are simple or that they can abide by feelings or beliefs.

Owning resources isn't the same thing as working, labor, creating, or *producing.* The people who work for the owners are the ones who produce those crops. "Well then, why did those people pay so little in taxes? Are they freeloaders?" Because you pay taxes on your income: which includes earnings (like wages) and non-worked income (like profits). If we were all taxed on our labor instead, that'd be fucked up, right? But you want to act like being taxed on your profits is unfair, uwu.

Producing crops isn't done out of kindness or generosity. It is business, which they make a great deal of money from. That's why they're taxed on it. (And by those numbers, those taxes are a little light, btw. .) But this post is acting like, "We gave you all those crops and wages, now you want taxes, too? There'll be nothing left for me!" That only makes sense in Ignorant Dipshit Land. Anything can be sold to poorly educated people.

They have the markets cornered and reap the profits.
