Dàiyù walked through the imperial garden wrapped in a delicate cloak. She closed her eyes, feeling the light wind blowing her long hair.

This peaceful moment was interrupted by the voice of one of the servants - "Lady Dàiyù! The Emperor has ordered me to tell you that he's waiting for you at the palace gate"

Dàiyù frowned, but without a word she passed the servant and headed towards the palace gates. Qin Shi Huang was already waiting for her with a big smile on his face and next to him were two horses prepared for the journey. Dàiyù sighed deeply and looked towards the sun which was slowly starting to set.

-"My beloved empress... come to me. I have a surprise for you" - He said and gave her his hand. Dàiyù with a serious expression on her face walked closer to him. She knew well that many people were watching them. With his help she got on the horse and grabbed the reins.

"Where are we going? It'll be night soon.." She began to speak and gently stroked the horse's neck.

-"Surprise.."

~ AN HOUR LATER ~

Dàiyù was really getting tired of this trip. She loved her husband so much. Oh, that's not even a good enough description. Her love for him was indescribable but... She was starting to get irritated.

-"Do you even know where we're going? We've been riding for an hour who knows where" - The woman wrapped her coat tighter around herself and adjusted her position in the saddle. She didn't ride horses on a daily basis so she wasn't used to it and was starting to feel uncomfortable.

It was after sunset and it was cold.

"Haha! I always know the right way!" - Dàiyù only rolled her eyes at his words but smiled gently under her breath.

The ride took another 15 minutes when the emperor suddenly stopped his horse and laughed to himself. He adjusted his robe and quickly stood on the ground and helped his wife down. He tied both horses to a tree and gave Dàiyù his hand.

In comfortable silence they moved forward and after a while they stopped in front of a small waterfall and river. Dàiyù opened her eyes slightly fascinated. The stars were reflected in the water creating a beautiful image. Qin Shi Huang looked proudly at her facial expression and hugged her from behind giving her some of his warmth to warm her.

"My beautiful empress... do you like this place?" - He asked quietly and buried his face in her hair. "We are all alone here. A beautiful evening in a beautiful place with the most wonderful woman in my arms"

Dàiyù closed her eyes and snuggled into his chest. Ying Zheng gave her warmth in every way possible

-"My empress. My love. Ah my beautiful lady... Even the most beautiful words in the world cannot describe my love for you. From the moment you first smiled at me I fell in love so hard that I would do anything to see that beautiful smile of yours all the time. From the time I first laid my eyes on you my heart had room only for you. Your presence, your smile always brightens my day." — Ying zheng turned her towards him and lifted her chin slightly with his fingers. He pulled his blindfold from his eyes so she could see his eyes and the feelings in his gaze —. "My love is as endless as the stars in the sky and burns as hotly as the sun... No one could ever make me feel the way you make me feel...

You consume my thoughts and fill my days with happiness... My dear... the way you laugh, the way you smile, the way you talk, the way you sing and the way you look at me... everything about you captivates me like nothing else in this world...."

Dàiyù placed her hand on his cheek. Their foreheads touched. The emperor gently kissed her on the lips and then laughed quietly.

-"Never leave me, my empress"

- "Never..." - Dàiyù said with a gentle smile

• On the way back to the palace Dàivu was on Qsh's horse because she was cold and tired. Qsh held her in the saddle in front of him and hugged her.
