maybe closure isn’t real. maybe it’s just an excuse to see them one last time, to hear the way they used to say your name, to be in the same room and pretend it doesn’t ache anymore.

we say we want answers. but really, we just want to feel wanted again. heard. chosen. like we mattered. even if it’s only for a moment before they walk away again.

and somehow, we call that closure.

Yearning in a hidden chest,

Stolen time, a fragile thread,

But burning in the dark of night,

Each kiss is a sin, each touch is a scar,

A love that hides beneath the stars.

Yet every step, a step to fall,

For what they hold, they cannot recall,

A fleeting dance of lust and pain,

In the end,

Facing the future can be daunting, especially when everything feels shrouded in uncertainty. We find ourselves questioning every step, every decision, fearing the unknown and what lies ahead. It’s in these moments of doubt that the weight of the unknown becomes almost unbearable. We grieve for the plans that didn’t work out, for the dreams that seem further away than ever.

It's okay to feel lost and unsure. It's okay to mourn the life we thought we’d have. Sometimes, the future feels like an endless stretch of darkness, with no clear path to follow. But it's in this very darkness that we find our resilience.

Take it one day at a time. Embrace the small victories and allow yourself to feel the sadness. Let your heart guide you, even when the way forward seems unclear. Remember, it’s in the most uncertain moments that we often discover our true strength. Sometimes, the most beautiful and unexpected stories are written in the dark, waiting for a glimmer of hope to bring them to light.

I lie awake at night The demons in my mind Eyes too numb to know. Staring at the ceiling Wondering if I should be okay Whatever that means Is it okay not to be okay? That's what everyone keeps saying, I guess I wake up, following my aching heart, trying to numb the pain I try to listen to the voices in my head, but didn't hear the cry for help. There for you, that's what everyone said but no one is, because everyone is playing their own game called life. Isn't that what friends are for but you forgot to be your friend, running back to yourself looking for hope running back to you for love that wouldn't make you selfish. Learning to turn your demons into spineless and weak with no mind of their own and feeding on your memories. Learning to be okay with things that are not in your control and looking out for yourself in the coldest nights of all.

The warmth, the comfort, and the love you provide to people around you can't be given by anyone else.

God, your eyes are gorgeous. When I look at you, I see emotions. They tell thousands of stories, feelings, pain that you can't share. I see the love and respect you have for me. Like you are trying to speak to me, trying to tell me how much I mean to you. When our eyes meet, it's like we are hastily connected and I know no one catches it but you and me. It's like our own little secret. A place we go to when everything around us is crazy and we just need some deception of normal. How can two people just gaze at each other and know what they are trying to tell you and even understand what they are hiding from you? Isn't it a love language? Then it's our love language. I want nothing more, just to sit and look you in the eyes and tell you that I keep falling in love with you. Overthinking, causes us to miss out on a lot of good things. You wish you could be like your friends who just say and do what they want. But you're not. You wish you could be one of those people who are so confident they can walk up and talk to anyone. You wish you were one of those people who would be themselves around people they don't know. But people have to get to know you to see who you actually are. I mean that's not a bad thing but it's kinda hard to let anyone get to know you because you're one of those people who just hold onto a few friends and don't let anyone else in. After all, you are afraid that the moment they get to know you, the moment you feel the happiest, they will walk away from you. Overthinking everything just makes you sad at the end of the day. The thoughts in your head are racing, making you panic, making you feel vulnerable, making you scared. How can someone be bothered with every little thing. For a moment, you feel like you had it till here and can't take it anymore. But suddenly you see a spark, a reason to be alive and full of life. Life will not always go on as you want it to and that's the beauty of it. Overthinking every small details is not going to make it better. But it's easier said than done, I know that for sure. But you can do this. It hurts when people so close to your heart just walk away. But remember pain makes us strong and unexpected pain even more stronger. It brings growth and change. Change can be scary.
