Utah 6 Penguins 1

A manageable game for the Penguins to get back into after the Crosby goal gets away from them FAST. Utah scored three goals in the third period, two of which were PPG. Utah came into this game on a three game skid and snapped it tonight against the Pens.

Meanwhile the Penguins are 1-6 in their last seven games, with their only win being a shootout win against the Sharks.

Penguins drop to 7-12-4 while Utah nabs a win to go 8-9-3.

Some Notes for the Third

Complete and utter collapse. Don't even have any adequate words for it. This team has no drive, no motivation. If you could win games based on the first period, the Penguins would probably be undefeated right now.

Their only happy note from tonight was Sid's 600th goal and even then it was overshadowed by the loss.

Sid was the only player going onto the ice to go over to Ned and Ned essentially waved him away and just went straight to the locker room. Very sad.

I think a huge change is coming soon. I truthfully don't think Sullivan makes it out of November, MAYBE he goes until mid December.

4-1 Utah, they convert on the abbreviated power play.

Guenther slides the puck in as Ned is on the other side of the crease. Marcus Petterrsson was all over Guenther and couldn't swat the puck away. He has not looked good this season in the slightest.
