I havent really been focusing on fanfics at the moment so... nothing really new besides a fanfic I wrote a while ago about Seri, her Candy Stealing Crew as well as her two little Detective’s in Aola aka the Region in Pokemon Sun and Moon, its more of a short and i’ll probably re-write it later (its kinda bad in my eyes) and add on to it but its something for now

I smile while watching the calming waves as I relax on a towel while my Pokemon play on the beach. I hear Eevee and Joule the Pikachu my little detectives enjoying themselves trying to find lost items on the beach and returning them as well. The Alolan hotel manager has even given them a list of items for them to find on the hotel grounds. I laugh a little as I see The Candy Crew including Gobstopper the Golduck, Twix the Blastoise and Almond Boi the Raticate building a sand castle of all things. I managed to convince them not to steal candy for the duration of our Vacation i sigh remembering that ordeal. Then Chickenberry is sleeping beside me till i hear a kid starts crying, I look to where the crew was just a moment ago and think oh no! Not the kid! I wake Chickenberry and call Joule and Eevee as i start to look around till I see them with these weird looking people in all black with a huge skull on their shirts. I can't hear what they are saying but I see Gobstopper is furious as he’s throwing his arms around, Twix and Almond Boi are right beside him waiting for a command. I gasp and run up to the kid first asking “what happened?”

The little boy rubs his eyes as I kneel down and try to comfort him, he says still sobbing “team skull took Brownie, plus! my bag with my snack in it!”

I nod asking “who’s brownie?“

The boy replies with tears dripping off his face “my lilipup”

My eyes narrow a little, even alola isn’t safe from gangs, i say calmly “it’ll be alright, i’ll be right back… Eevee, Joule, Chickenberry stay with him for now”

Eevee and Joule snuggle up to the boy while Chickenberry lies behind him, the boy says “your gonna fight them?”

I smile and say “yes i’ll be ok my Pokemon are pretty strong”

The boy nods suddenly calm as Eevee rubs his head against the boy, then i walk up yelling “hey! Are you team skull!”

They nod all three of them and one says “yoyo i think we have another trainer! you wait while we catch these pokemon!”

I laugh a little what? Did they just say catch them? Another one of them says “what is she laughing at?”

I smile and say “these are my pokemon!

Then say “You guys ready?”

They nod and i yell “alright! You’ll Battle me all at once! If i win your giving back everything you stole today including pokemon got it!””

I cant exactly tell if their smirking because of the bandans but its probably a good bet. They soon bring out Zubat, Drowze and Gastly the grunts say at the same time “you know when we win we’re taking your pokemon!”

My eyes narrow as i yell “Gobstopper Psychic on Zubat! Blastoise Hydro Pump on Gastly! And Almond Boi Hyper Fang On Drowze!”

The crew nod and jump into action each a direct hit and KO’s them almost instantly, I feel sorry for the oppents pokemon. The grunts just stand their for a minute shocked then return their pokemon, run up and drop everything they stole at my feet and promptly leave. I hand the boy his pokeball and say “i told you everything would be ok”

His eyes light up as he says “thanks! And wow your strong!”

Then brings out Lilipup who tackles him in a hug then i see Gobstopper grab one of the bags and says “gol?”

As if asking your bag, the boy smiles and takes his bag saying “thank you Golduck! Thank you Blastoise! thank you Raticate!”

Their eyes widen a little as they look a little embarrassed and nod to the boy who says to Lilipup “we’re gonna get strong enough to beat team skull right Llilypup!”

The Lilypup barks in agreement, iask the boy “shouldnt you get going?”

He nods and runs off yelling “thanks again!”

I can only smile happily and say to The candy stealing crew who still look a little embarrassed “you did great guys! Sorry there was no candy but here”

I hand them each a candy and say “for a good job you guys were heroes!”

I look down at Joule and Eevee who are sorting through the hefty amount of items trying to figure out what belongs to who. And say “our job isnt Done yet!”

The actual first chapter of The Fabled Blue Rose

I toss and turn in my leaf green colored bed as the night slowly fades away into day but the hold of sleep refuses to take me. I can hear my wolf pack waking up from there sleep in the puppy play yard that is connected to my yard so I know it’s almost time to work. I sigh realizing that I had not slept a wink, but soon smile as the zoo needs tending too because there’s so much to do in the zoo! Though it may be exhausting at times I really love my job! I get up, get dressed in my zoo attire, grab my backpack and walk down the stairs to the kitchen and start getting ready for the day. I put my bag down on a chair at the kitchen table and look through its contents while saying them out loud “the sword of light, my steel leaf armour, a bow with some basic enchants and arrows for the bow of course. mole fingers my shovel, chickpickedi my pickaxe, a regular axe with some basic enchants on it,10 safari nets, shears for collecting plants, a crafting table, and my phone plus some food for me and the dogs”

It may seem weird that a zookeeper needs weapons and tools, but this world is still very wild and monsters can lurk around any corner. Though my home and Zoodessia are usually safe as I’ve lit up everything quite well, but the off chance that there is a monster I want to be prepared. My stomach soon growls for food so I quickly prepare some. After I eat, I prepare more even food for the day ahead and place it in my bag. I turn on the camera drone that was made by professor Cowplant the 3rd while getting ready for my weekly livestream, It flies up and points its camera at me. I look at the drone with vines painted all over it to help it blend in with the greenery then say to it “alright live stream in 10 seconds”

The drone is voice activated so it doesn’t need somebody to control it and I find that very handy when in the exhibits or out on expeditions as I usually travel without other people. I swing my bag over my shoulder saying after the light turns red meaning its recording and live streaming “hey everyone! And welcome back to Zoodesia zoo!”

I wave at the camera as a small screen slides out of the drone so I can see the comments and say “I was just about to get one of my wolves to accompany us for today and I figured why not let my fellow biologists choose! So which wolf or wolves should we take today?”

When I look at the comments I see most saying Lily or Tate, then a few for Pine and Ash i say “let’s let Tate and Lily rest for a little longer and we’ll take Pine and Ash, Alright?”

Soon after I walk outside to my backyard which has many mixed gardens growing and hear the barks of my wolfpack. Which consists of Lily, my very first wolf and companion in this world along with Tate, her brother, Iris, Tates mate. Ash and Pine plus Devon, Pine’s mate and their puppies who are grown up. I walk across the bridge that connects my yard to their play yard and call out “Lilly! Tate! Iris! Ash! Pine! Devon! Puppies!”

But none of them are up at the gate like usual I call again but still no wolves, I look at the camera and say “this is unusual, but I get to show off the newly renovated puppy play yard to you guys!”

I see some of the commenters are worried asking if they are ok, I smile and nod replying while opening the gate “they are doing really well guys I just let them rest after our last plant expedition”

The play yard has toys scattered around and is about 20 metres larger than before so the wolves have more room to run. The Wolf den got a bit of an upgrade also as its a bit larger and has a floor instead of grass, I walk further into the yard after closing the gate gasping in surprise at what I see whispering “you guys can see this too right?”

I glance over the comments and they basically say what I’m thinking-

Commenter: that’s not one of your wolves! *Gasp*

Another commenter: who is that wolf!

Random comment :it’s big!

Another comment: how did it get in there!

And many more, a lot of them are telling me to be careful also, I take a deep breath and look over again just to make sure I’m not dreaming. A pure black wolf is standing nose to nose with Lily, neither are hostile at each other, I stand very still unsure what is going on as questions keep popping up in my head like popcorn. Why is this wolf here? Who is it? Is it friendly? Lily starts to cautiously sniff the wolf then after a few seconds her tail starts to wag, I whisper remembering I’m still streaming “I have never seen this wolf before, but it looks like Lily has. You need to remember that she was once a wild wolf so she has relationships that I never knew about, that wolf most likely was once apart of Lily and Tate’s pack, he’s huge so most likely as the alpha male of their former pack”

Lily soon barks happily at the huge wolf and after that Tate comes over and inspects the wolf then the others come over with their tongues out. It’s then I notice Tate and Lily look somewhat like the wolf visitor sharing a similar build, i say out loud relaying my thoughts “guy’s I-I think that’s their father… Can you see the resemblance in the black wolves build to my wolves? The snout is very similar along with the proportions of the legs to the body”

After quickly glancing at the comments and seeing some of the watchers agree with me I say “ok I’m gonna call over Lily and Tate… Lily! Tate! Over here!”

All the wolves look at me including the black wolf that is giving me a refined almost royal feeling, then Lily and Tate run over to me. After taking turns jumping up on me and licking my face, they sit there rumps on the ground and look up at me both of their tails are wagging a mile a minute. I can tell whoever this wolf is they are happy to see him, I ask “Lily? Tate? Who is this? Your dad?”

The duo nod and then bark at the older wolf as if asking him to come over, he complies walking over cautiously. I kneel down near a dog dish and slowly taken some of the chicken out saying lowly “hi you must be hungry”

The wolf nods, I blink this is the first time I’ve interacted with a pure wild wolf in a while but I don’t ever remember them picking up on human speech this fast. It took Lily and Tate a few days to understand me properly, I slowly bring my hand out to the wolf and open my hand revealing the piece of chicken. I say “take it you’re hungry”

The wolf sniffs my hand and the chicken carefully then takes a small piece, after he gulps it down he wags his tail, gently taking the rest of the chicken from my hand. When he sits down I know the bond has been completed and say “what should your name be?”

I look at the floating drones screen and see a lot of people wanting his name to be Shadow, Onyx, or Slate, I think hrmmm well… He does have black fur and no name is jumping out at me. I look at him and say “Hmm Shadow? Onyx? Or Slate”

He looks at me again seemingly not impressed with those names then I look at his stunning green eyes and one name calls to me “Ceder? Would you like your name to be Ceder?”

The wolf simply nods and starts to devour the contents of a food dish as I stand there saying “well I guess you are hungry”

The first chapter of The Fabled Blue Rose well... a prologue more like it buuuut still

I walk away from the dog pen which I just call the puppy play yard saying sleepily “night puppies”

Then saunter through my yard thats bordered with hedges to my house which is a tree house. But in the literal sense as its a giant living tree that I’ve made my home in, when I reach the office door I sigh readying myself for a scolding from my accountant. I open the door and hear a discontent squawk and say with a yawn “I know Martha we’ve made hardly any money this past week”

I take my green bag off my back and say to the little flying robotic video camera “go recharge”

I hear it beep in response and it flies away to its charging dock then reach into my bag and take out some wooden coins. Then place them into the safe residing next to the angry dodo bird on the office chair who is my accountant. I glance around the office seeing everything in its place the filing cabinets that hold all of our 7 year finance history are tidily on the left side of the room. The bookshelves that hold all are other records including the files for our resident zoo animals and keepers are on the right. Martha’s corner resides near the stairs which has the safe for our money her computer and chair, I then realize Martha was talking to me and say “sorry Martha its late and I’m done for the day I need to sleep”

She fluffs up her feathers and squawks loudly and I reply “Martha we will get enough money OK we always do”

She eyes me then resumes work on her computer, I nod and go to the kitchen so I can eat a little something before bed. I check to make sure the video camera is charging then eat some toast and jam, I peak into Chip’s Office and see he’s fast asleep on his desk. I tip toe in to see what he was working on as he wasn’t telling me and see he was translating some ancient texts I found on my latest expedition. I recall the temple I found them in it was a weird one as it had flowers growing inside it, not that I don’t approve of growing plants inside. But in a temple is very odd, I glance at his computer screen and see he has the scripture translated. So I quietly read it

The Rose a fabled flower in itself but a certain Rose triumph’s over the others a blue rose as blue as the dark ocean, it’s stem as green as the great forests of old. Yes I speak of that Rose! the one that is said to give unique curses or gifts to those who disturb it… The Fabled Blue Rose of The Harvest Goddess.

Way off the beaten path deep inside the belly of many mountains, surrounded by trees many moons old. It grows in an even deeper cavern untouched by the howling winds and frigid temperatures of the outside world. Only known by those who are worthy of the goddesses trust as the flower is also known as The Life Force of the Goddess.

Many have set out to find the goddess and its flower, so few have returned from their journey, even fewer have returned unscathed.

So will you be one of the few to find the flower? If you manage to find the flower will you be Cursed or Blessed? Be able to go back home or wander the mountains forever? And will you be the one to finally pick the flower? Only time will tell because the flower will always be there waiting.

I think its almost like its being addressed to someone but who? I yawn again ok this can be figured out later I need to sleep. I wake up Chip’s and we trudge to bed and soon fall asleep as a loud howl is heard through the night.
