« Papa and dad got a very few friends in common but- auntie rouge and uncle Knucles are some! »

Uncle’s the master emerald guardian or something- and untie’s a spy! Both retired a few years back when they adopted Lapis. A blue armadillo Rouge took the pleasure to name.

Then knuckes liked the little kid! So much he even went out to take in as many forgotten teenager still living in orphanages back to the island. He raised these kid to take over his work as guardian on the island. These kids didn’t like to be taken on a restrained island but- they got around- the master emerald’s happy to have many guardian again!

They make one big and happy family!

« hi! I’m Sekothetree! Or … simply Seko- I’m a small artist from 🇨🇦Canada🇨🇦! I’ve spend 2 years in College studying arts but sadly had to leave for financial issues- so no- I’m not one of em artist with full on art degree or any experiences in the entertainment world- all of my arts are purely for fun-»

My Favorite game from the Sonic franchise gotta be : Frontier.

This is my first time developing on the Sonic ”art style ". I’ve first started digital art with anthropomorphic characters and when I’ve started receiving commissions orders from the furry community, I knew I could keep growing my own art style and eventually, creat something not too bad on my own!

2. About the AU

This is my very first AU- I have no idea how far I’m willing to make this but I’ve received many enthusiastic responses to my Fankid Oc : Comets!

My interest in the Sonic franchise is quite recent. Growing up, none of my family members had or- even knew anything related to sonic- its only once I saved enough to have my very own gaming setup that I’ve joined in! My knowledge of the canon lore is low but I’ll try my best to apply as much of it in this AU to keep it as natural as I can to the common fan-

This story was born while I was in difficulty with family and car problems. And a random idea pop up in my mind- what about a fanfic with my favourite ship have a child going trough family difficulty and car theme problem✨-! I think there’s a lot of myself in this oc then any other ones I’ve ever created!

3.About The OC

I believe some of you have experienced something similar to me- one random day in high school, you get asked: what do you want to be when you grow up? You have to know before college!

Well- I didn’t have an answer then- and I still don’t. I see my cousins and friends my age all going far in life-! Getting praises and encouragement, and I just, stay there. Working a boring 9-5 to pay student loans for a school I didn’t even enjoy. Living a boring life of always seeing the same people, always doing to same things everyday-

I wanted to create an OC with that : boring normal life. In this case: a Sonadow Fankid with none of his parents or families member exciting lifestyles or power. A completely normal mobian trying to survive in the world like any of us.

My 9-5 job have me working with teenagers so- I get a lot of inspiration for them to give Comet the sensitivity of a young teenager. As for what it come to his parents way of parenting-? A lot of it is purely fictional but also greatly influenced by the people around me-!

☄️Comet favourite uncle M. Prowlers 🦊

Comet grew up in the dusty outskirts of a small town, where tracks ran wild with the echoes of engines and the scent of gasoline filled the air. A goldmine village for his handyman big brother/uncle 🦊to live.

From an early age, he was drawn to the colorful, roaring beasts that sped around local racetracks, their powerful engines singing a tune that resonated deep within his bones. It wasn’t like his caretaker🦊 love for planes and useful robots- it was a calling for adventures! Upon his first visit on a racetracks, he was met face to face with pictures of his parents racing years ago. Soon enough, an intense passion grew. Hidings a more profound yearning—a desperate craving for acknowledgment from his father.🦔

As years passed without many heartfelt conversations or shared interests between them, adolescence prompted Comet to rebel against authority figures—his Papa strict rules and teachers' 🦡🦊🦇🐝🐰guidance felt stifling compared to the freedom of hitting pedals to the roof.

When Moma Sonic learned of Comet existence, he- he didn’t know what to do. Yes he raised an 8year old but a new born baby? 100% dependent of your actions?

Yea- that was stressfull. He tried his best to take care of Comet and himself all alone but with Eggman making and leaving messes everywhere and fan constantly fallowing- … Sonic made the decision to ask for help. Help from his closest family: the kid he raised years ago.

All grown up, Tails had his own house now! He been dating Cream since his teenage years and have now been happily married for 2 years. Cream have her own little garden for her chaos and Tails his garage. They moved in a small yet lovely town and the outskirts of a desert reknown for vast resources and flat terrain. Perfect for Tails to test new vehicles and find clientele for his newfound mecanic job! Both found themselves comfortable in this new modem lifestyle.

When the blue blur came knocking that one evening asking for help. Miles couldn’t say no.

As well as writing, I have found myself also reading an awful amount of Sonic-related fanfiction and comics recently… So, I thought I’d share a few of my favourites in case anyone else has found themselves hyper-fixating over this fandom like I have recently 🦔

I’ll try to put them in sections but please note that quite a few of the topics tend to overlap. Oh and also, there happens to be an awful lot of Sonadow shipping too, because even if it’s not always the key focus in the story, it always seems to make its way into the things I consume now apparently 😅 So I’ll be sure to tag with 💙🖤❤️ if that’s relevant.

Concord by EvieNyx (@evienyx) - [Complete] 💙🖤❤️ Focuses on Shadow after the third SCU movie. It’s really cute, and I feel like it accurately portrays movie-Shadow’s thoughts and memories, mixing together elements of the films with fan theories and other STH media canon.

Project Guardian by AealZX @aealzx - [Ongoing] Again, after the third SCU movie (there’s quite a few of them 😅) but Shadow is taken in as a fourth Wachowski sibling, who has to recover from severe injuries. Some art is included, and it’s just really sweet all-in-all.

Secrets In Our Quills by @nebrasska-alasska - [Ongoing] 💙🖤❤️ I’m sure many of you are already aware of their amazing stories, but this one is the longest so far, and also the closest to being completed. But if you like Sonadow slowburn and plenty of gay fluff, you should definitely read all of their incredible fanfics.

A Junk Yard Of Possibilities by CrazyForClones (@crazyforclones) - [Complete] This story looks at what happened to Agent Stone after Dr Robotnik’s death and focuses on the potentially adorable friendship that could blossom between him and Tails.

Weird Science by satan_official - [Ongoing] 💙🖤❤️ This one is really interesting and it sort of makes me think of Equestria Girls (for any MLP fans out there!) but instead it’s Sonic and Shadow who are stuck in human bodies on the human world. It’s a bit different but really great so far 😁

Boom To Another Dimension by Gamerblade - [Ongoing] Explores what could happen if the SCU Live Action film characters were sent to the Sonic Boom universe, with pretty regular updates being uploaded so far. 😊

Into The Tailsverse by TheCatCacoon - [Ongoing] This one has a bunch of my favourite little two-tailed foxes, and, as someone who is also exploring bringing different Miles Prowers together, it’s intriguing to see how someone else writes these characters 🦊

Culture Shock by foggystarrs (@foggystarrs) - [Ongoing] 💙🖤❤️ Purely a Sonadow fanfiction, but it looks at hedgehog / Mobian courting behaviour and is just really cute 🥰 If you are a fan of oblivious gay and alien hedgehogs, you’ll probably love this one.

Heart Of A Monster by SuperEmeralds (@the-heart-of-a-monster by @superemerarts) - [Ongoing] Another insanely detailed comic, which is a retelling of Sonic Unleashed. Its so well done, plus there's a gentle sprinkling of platonic Sonadow.

Team Dark Supernova Odyssey by @sharpedgedfool (@teamdarksupernovaodyssey) - [Ongoing] This is a space opera comic revolving around found family and adventure themes, set as a hypothetical spin-off to the Shadow the Hedgehog video game.

Sonic Boom Revisited by @multiisketch , @mama-qwerty. & @star-stages (@sonicboomrevisited) - [Ongoing] This comic is amazing. A bit darker than the original series, but has just been so gripping so far. Regular updates too! Definitely recommended! 👍

Infested by @flightyalrighty - [Ongoing] Viewer discretion advised for this one, it seems pretty dark...

Ask the Sonic Verse by @verizzafai (@asksonicverse) 💙🖤❤️ - [Ongoing] This is a fun, silly ongoing series which focuses on different versions of Sonadow all being stuck in the same room and getting sent questions from the audience.

Low Light by @verizzafai (@soniclowlightau) 💙🖤❤️ - Only a few pages so far, but looks very promising!

Broken Future by @teamchillidogs 💙🖤❤️ - [Ongoing] A tragic re-telling of an alternate ending of Sonic Adventure 2.

Silver's Parent Trap by @evilgenius-prower 💙🖤❤️ - A silly AU where Silver is actually the adopted future child of Sonadow and goes back in time to try and save his dads lives.

Eggsperiments by @prince-less - This is a new concept so there's not much content about it yet, but I really hope it becomes either a proper comic or fanfic or something similar, because I'm such a sucker for alternate stories of Sonic and Tails being the best brothers, and this a really cool idea 🥺

Sonadow Future by @torusonicpilled 💙🖤❤️- [Ongoing] Another newer one, with a few fanfic chapters and a few comic pages, but they've already got me interested from the idea that Tails can be resurrected, so I'm excited to see where it goes next ☺️

Sonic & The Olympus Heroes by @miitarion - Not sure if this will be continued as it was only shared quite recently, so might just be a one-off, but the art is incredible; Definitely worth a read! ✨

@mercurio-shadowz - They've not been following a particular storyline, but their art and short comics (especially about Shadow being a closeted gay disaster) are awesome. 🤩

Incomplete / Unfinished:

These are a bunch of stories that I really grew to love but they either stopped too long ago and so are presumably forgotten about, or may have been abandoned entirely and will likely never receive any conclusions. ☄️Comet relationship with his favourite auntie: Stick the badger🪵

Comet got a lot of insecurities. Most being link to his lack of powers.

With both of his father being super hedgehog, being born a completely normal mobian was- unexpected?

So- who better to teach him the power or « normal mobian » better then Stick! Stick taught Comet to crawl way before the common newborn would- she taught him to climb, to use his claws, his teeth properly!

Tho not as good as her when in come to hang out from trees- he’s still value her lesson and her crazy antic. Whenever life began to get too hard or crazy, comet would often run away to pass a few days with his favorite auntie💖⭐️✨☄️
