"Sekaná" - Slovak/Czech for "meatloaf" or (more literally) "cut" (adj.)"Sakana" (魚/さかな) - Japanese for "fish"I just thought it sounded cool

I'm honestly so used to hanging out with my liberal friends who all meme about how puritanical leftism seems to be that sometimes I just blurt out stuff like "I'm a true chud, I hate all leftists" and get absolutely the WRONG type of people agreeing with me lmao

I have recently figured, that sometimes, making something sound more aggressive can actually make it sound less aggressive, because the over the top frustration makes it sound like a joke, whereas trying to be casual can make you come off as passive aggressive and condescending.
Compare:
- Oh, by the way, make sure you wash the dishes when you're done, cause I need them clean.
- OH, BY THE WAY, MAKE SURE, YOU WASH THE DISHES WHEN YOU'RE DONE, CAUSE I NEED THEM CLEAN.

Turns out I've already made 5 posts and I wouldn't have realised if Tumblr didn't send me an email.
I'm afraid that I'm starting to use the site too much

Ok so here's a thing I noticed. This is how the Thai script "usually" looks, right?
But one thing I noticed watching a lot of those food ASMR videos from Thailand (don't judge me) is that a lot of sans thai fonts ommit those circles
And like... Here's the thing. To me, it almost looks like Latin? And like I'm not saying this as a bad thing or anything, in fact I think it's kinda neat!
The Thai script works very differently from Latin, and it developed about as far away from Rome and the rest of Europe as possible, and yet it still looks superficially similar in a few common fonts.
That's all.
