Okay so I’m not very serious on any of my socials but I just wanted to take them time to say that people who tell black people that they ’act white’ and to ‘act their race’ is horrendous

And as someone who has been told this multiple times when I was really young and never understood what said people meant I just wanted to talk about it for a sec. So by me ‘acting white’ do you mean me speaking in full sentences? Me using proper grammar? Me dressing a certain way for certain occasion? Me not speaking in a ‘ghetto’ fashion? Me not saying nigga every five seconds? Me not always yelling about how black and woke I am? Or is it just me not being the stereotype for black people presented my media? But no when I say it’s wrong to think of me as just some black individual who’s father is either dead, incarcerated, or just left me after I was born I’m crazy.

i want to try something new

so i’ve been recently hyperfixiated on multiple choice games. you know, games where you have multiple choices and the outcome all depends on what you choose? those types of games.

i want to try to create a story based on that.

i already attempted to do that on wattpad but it was very limited. it was choppy and overall was just dog shit. but here, i have a broader use of tools where i can craft SOMETHING. it might not be perfect, but i can cut it close.

i present to you: The Ethereal Project.

it’s an otome storyline where YOU are the main character. i’m deciding to use haikyuu because it has a much bigger character choice. it is VERY EARLY in the crafting process. i’m still deciding how scores will work and how choices will work. the storyline is also very choppy and incomplete. i know how it will begin and roughly how it’ll end, but i’m still piecing together the middle and each characters cutscene.

Near has been cracking away at the Kira case throughout the night. Y/N? Lying in bed with nobody by their side once again.

This was a typical sight. Ever since “L” passed, Nate became his replacement. He’s been training for this ever since he’s arrived at Whammy’s. Y/N tries to support him in his little successes and venture from time to time, but it grows hard.

Especially when you’re at your whits end.

“Near…”

Nothing.

“Bear?”

Click clack.

“Nate.”

The typing, once prominent in the room, halts in its tracks. Now Near knew something was up. He scotches himself around so he’s faced with his y/e/c eyed angry significant other.

“What?”

Y/N sits up on the bed and props themselves with their arms.

“It’s late. Please, you need your rest.”

Now, one thing to make clear, Y/N from day one has always gotten their way with one tiny mannerism. A tiny pout is all that’s needed to make Nate give in to his partner’s needs.

And that’s what they did.

“Y/N i’m trying to work. You need to sleep, i’ll be there soon.”

Near couldn’t give in. Not when others lives could be in stake. Not when Kira is still out there. Not when his mentors last dying wish was to capture Kira and serve justice where it was due. He will not give in to a single pout.

Y/N sniffles and pouts again.

“Fine. I guess you can keep working.”

Great. Now Nate felt guilty. And feeling that while working on a murder case is not fun.

Near sighs and closes the laptop, darkness flooding the room. Y/N could hear the soft pits and patters getting closer to their lovers side of the bed.

Nate turns on the lamp that rests on a white-painted nightstand littered with a mug and a single book.

Y/N turns over and smiles at Nate. He smiles back faintly and climbs into the soft, white covers.

“What made you decide to get to bed?” Y/N asks softly, moving one of Nears many strands of white hair out of his pale complexion.

“I felt guilty.”

Y/N chuckles softly and wraps their arms around his small body.

“Cuddles?”

“Sure.”

Nate turns the light out and wraps his arms around his lover, kissing their forehead goodnight as they both fall into a deep sleep.
