*Scraps shakes his head as he sets his phone to charge, lying back on his new bed*

*he swore, he could have came on the spot. Why hadn't he gotten a better bed sooner? This was like heaven*

*he made sure Jeff was situated for the night before allowing Lemonchello to come sleep on one side of the bed while he slept on the other, yawning and falling asleep as he listened to Lemonchello purring happily at the comfort of the new sheets, blankets, and mattress*

But no, I'm not busy this weekend. Pyxis and I did the roller rink tonight. Tomorrow is their solo-night.

If I actually get a decent weeks worth of sleep, I look 26 again when I got my mutation. I just look my age because I decided to chuck it to the fuck it bucket and apparently not sleep.

*come morning time, Scraps slowly stirs awake, holding onto the sleeping kitten on his chest as he sits up on the couch*

*he yawns and stretches out, looking down at the tiny creature in his hands. He looks over at Jeff who is still very asleep as well, carefully setting Lemonchello down next to him*

*by the time he's taken a shower, had breakfast, took Jeff and Lemonchello out for a walk, fed them both and cleaned them up, it was time to open up the workshop*

*he shuffles upstairs with his first cup of coffee for the day, Jeff following right behind him and curling up on his upstairs pet bed with Lemonchellow asleep on his back. Scraps snorts a bit at the image, taking a picture before flicking on the open sign for the workshop*

*Scraps eventually made it back home, well... back to his workshop where he happened to live, more specifically*

*he set out a few cans of food for the alley cats and refilled the water for them before slipping back inside and changing into sweat pants and a baggy MCR shirt he's had for ages now.*

*he slipped back down into the basement, setting out a late night snack for Jeff and gently petting the land shark before setting out a late night snack for Lemonchello who was currently going insane and running all over the place*

*he poured himself a glass of cheap wine and settled down on his shitty twin sized bed, feeling as the metal frame creaked slightly. He'd have to make it a point to go out and get a new bed tomorrow, so for now, he went back to the couch and settled there instead*

*he gave Jeff a small forehead kiss before sending him to sleep, whistling to Lemonchello who immediately ran up and settled on his chest, purring loudly enough to be mistaken for a small engine.*

*Scraps chuckled and finished his wine, taking his hair out of the braid and slipping on his silk bonnet before lying down on his couch with the kitten on his chest*

*he carefully pet the small creature as the three soon fell asleep, the TV still running with a fireplace and LoFi music stream as background noise to hopefully keep the man asleep*

*Scraps was just out for a morning walk, cup of hot coffee in his hand as he walked, the warmth steaming up his glasses a bit every time he raised it to his lips*

*as the man continued to walk, there was the sound of a young girl shouting and then a sudden weight hugging against his leg*

"HI UNCLE SCRAPS!" *the young girl shouted, smiling brightly up at him*

"Jesus, you almost gave me a heart attack, Dani." *he scoffed but softly chuckled after a bit, finishing off his coffee before tossing it into the trash and scooping up the young girl*

"How is my favorite partner in crime doing? Where's your dad?" *he ruffled her hair, setting her up on his shoulders*

"Papa is right over there with mom!" *Dani chimed happily, settling her head on top of his*

"Does he know you went running off? You know I told you that isn't very safe." *he huffed, walking towards the girl's parents*

"Yeah! He knows! They both spotted you! Told me to come surprise you." *Dani giggled and stuck some flowers into his braid*

"Well, if it isn't the lone wolf. You know, wolves are usually pack animals, Scraps." *the man let out a low rumble of laughter, nudging him in the shoulder*

"It's good to see you, Asante." *the woman chimed cheerfully, giving him a side hug*

"Jacob, Josie. Glad to see you're both well." *Scraps huffed, letting Dani down off his shoulders. His eyes traveled down and cocked up an eyebrow*

"One of these things wasn't enough? How far along are you, Josie?"

*Josie laughed and shook her head*

"I'm nearing my third trimester. We don't know the gender yet, but we are happy as long as baby is healthy. Dani is excited to be a big sister. She's been helping with all of the baby stuff."

*Scraps nodded his head and gently rubbed her back, then Jacob nudged him again*

"What about you, Scraps? When are you gonna settle down with a nice man? You've expressed interest before. Why you still a loner?" *he laughed, patting his back, earning an eye roll from Scraps*

"You know I'm busy with work. Especially now. I've got a lot of people to watch over. I'm fine with just me and my friend, Pyxis. You've met them before." *he nudged Jacob back*

"Who could forget that ball of energy? Jesus, no idea how you keep up with that. But hey, serious talk. You're almost 40. You've never dated a single person. You can't always be alone and trying to take care of everyone else. Like I said, wolves are pack animals. Try and take care of yourself here and there." *Jacob gruffed, patting off the frost he accidentally formed on Scraps' coat*

"Mmph... easy for you to say. You guys take care, I hope your birth goes easy and healthy, Josie. Dani, keep your old man out of trouble, alright?" *he ruffled the girl's hair again before walking off, Jacob's words weighing heavily on him*
