OKAY. NOW IM STARTING TO SERIOUSLY BELIEVE @nights-nonsensical-ramblings THEORY THAT THE GRIM IS THE ORIGINAL WORLD.
I believe that the purple shard, the one we do not see break off during the shattering, the one that is tied to The Grim, is the “core” of the Paradox Prism. The one that used to tie them all together, that they all joined to at the centre.
The entire prism, when whole, has purple tinted throughout the other colours. the tips of them are all purple.
The shattered pieces all retain that purple tint (though, it is harder to see in the green one, it shows up more like a blue. but it is still present.)
The entire shatterverse, the realm in-between these different worlds, is entirely purple.
As pointed out by @galaxy-pop, here, the purple shard, as seen in Sonic Dash, is round. its colouring is noticeably different from the others as well; while they all turn purple at the edges, the purple one itself fades into black. it is not jagged and sharp like the other four pieces, it looks like it would’ve come from the centre of the prism, and every other shard broke off from it. So if the purple shard is the “core” of the prism as a whole, and The Grim is its shatterspace, and we do not see the purple shard break off during the shattering… what if we don’t see it leave because it didn’t move? What if it stayed planted where it was, in a world transformed into a desolate wasteland?

Sighs, here we go again.
Okay sonic prime enjoyers/watchers/anyone who want to join in. As someone who actively enjoys the idea of different dimensions having time pass differently in the others, I want to hear your opinions. How much do you think each one differs from the other?
Personally, I think New Yoke passes really fast. In Sonic's trip to the Boscage Maze, we see that the rebellion had significant progress against the Egg Council. I would think the whole thing would take at least a month or two before Sonic returns.
I can't say much about the Grim and No Place since we don't see that much change of time for the Grim and we don't have much information about No Place.

Was researching something for a new chapter and found out hedgehogs aren't supposed to be eating bread.

#this would also explain why sonic's shoes was going nuts there#if the mere presence of the shards#the smaller broken off versions of the whole prism itself#make sonic's shoes buzz#why wouldn't the core make it more intense?#this show is making my brain go buzz
