Crossfit training began in 2000 as a high-intensity fitness program incorporating elements from several sports. But it’s evolved into a daily way of life not confined to indoors.

That’s why we created a line of gloves and performance gear for all you want to do... sail, cycle, snow or water ski, fish, lift weights, ride a motorcycle, work on your car, work at the ranch, or simply keep your hands warm. All our gloves and gear are very high performance at a very low price.

Here’s how it all got started:

My co-founder and now very good friend and I are from very different backgrounds and cultures. So what makes our partnership work? I know what I want in gloves and sports gear; he and his family have been making gloves and apparel for over 40 years. They understand the art of constructing each item to fit its function. Gloves are why my co-founder and I started Scout Performance Gear.  And we have since expanded our offerings due to customer demand. We are constantly getting rave reviews about the quality/price of our gloves and gear. And we promise to always “dance with what brung us.”  

I spent almost 20 years as a road warrior prior to moving back to Texas where I now own a working cattle ranch. And where, by the way, I use Scout Performance Gloves every day! Over my professional career, I worked in several different fields - professional sports, marketing, sales, you name it. And during my travels, I would for example be in Vegas one day where it was 110 degrees and the next step off a plane I’d be in frigid North Dakota. So I understood the need for a high-quality glove right from the start.

Let’s face it, there are a lot of over-priced gloves on the market. What I found so frustrating was when I would pay a lot of money for a “big brand” glove and would then leave it in a hotel or on a plane and then be empty-handed when I needed them. I think we all have been there, right? Too, I am very frugal and would feel sick because I spent so much on a lost pair of gloves.

So our goal at Scout Performance Gear is to make gloves and gear that help you do whatever you want to do even better. Gloves that are as good or better than the big brands but for a lower price. We want each and every person who buys our brand to feel that they got a VERY GOOD GLOVE and A VERY GOOD DEAL.
