Do you think this one is a scammer? https://spinningbaybladedd.tumblr.com/post/664229384922742784/important-please-read-our-stories-or-just-share
Second person who reblogged the post also shows hints of being a scammer.
The ask she’s sending to people reads as follows:
“hey sorry Hun. Could you help me reblog my blog? I’m gonna give a follow too. here is my link https://spinningbaybladedd.tumblr.com/post/664229384922742784/important-please-read-our-stories-or-just-share thank you. and btw, you can double check to make sure its not a scam! you know it’s everywhere.”
---
Hey, thank you so much for getting in touch! This absolutely looks like another scammer hijacking a real person’s actual Gofundme campaign - I’ll be sharing a more in-depth post about this in the next few minutes. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

hi, just wondering your thoughts on this? id like to donate but im not sure whether or not its a scam.
https://patty-needs-help.tumblr.com/post/664551278182105088/donate-to-sitchonsherwungmailcom
Hey! Thanks for getting in touch. It looks like this account has already been deactivated, but from what I can see of the link, this seems to be another pet donation scam account from the person behind the @helpbailey and @thisisformilo scam accounts. They're also likely to be behind one of the more notorious and prolific scammers, @ivysour.
Sitchon Sherwun seems to be the current identity used in PayPal accounts run by this scammer, so I would avoid donating or sharing anything posted by accounts using these details. I’d also recommend reporting the [email protected] PayPal account to PayPal.

Looks like the @kandd-needs-your-help and @starpineda1 accounts have already been deactivated (lol that was quick), but it’s pretty likely the OP behind these accounts will just make new Tumblrs with different, horrible scenarios.
Btw theres ANOTHER dog post scam going around with the exact same wording as Sherwun's fake poodle fundraisers

Laura Deramas, the scammer behind the @peopwtasghd, @bfgstsghhxx, and @russel577888 accounts, is continuing to spam and harass people. The OP of this post has detailed their experiences of being targeted by this scammer above, and it’s pretty consistent with her pattern of manipulation and harassment.
They’ve highlighted some common details across Laura’s different scams that I would encourage people to keep an eye out for, including:
Hosting on Airfunding (as opposed to Gofundme, as she had her account terminated recently)
Using “injured pet” scenarios to try and guilt/manipulate people into donating or sharing her posts
Inconsistent details, with photos that are clearly stolen not matching up with other evidence provided (ie, her fundraising post claims the dog has a torn ACL when the dog in question shows no signs of actually being injured and the x-rays don’t show a torn ACL)
Claiming to be LGBTQIA (not speculating on whether or not Laura is LGBTQIA herself, but it’s a common detail that she makes sure to mention in a lot of her scams)
Slightly broken English with specific words that are often misspelled or misconjugated, as well as certain issues with grammar and particular turns of phrase (opening a post with “Good day”, asking to “knock on your heart”, etc).
If you receive a message from an account you don’t know, requesting that you donate or reblog their fundraising post, I would strongly recommend that you double-check to make sure they haven’t already spammed people with the exact same message. I’ve included a screenshot below the cut of the posts that turn up when you copy-paste the first part of a message in quotation marks into the Tumblr search engine and sort by recent results.

Notorious donation scammer @ivysour never sleeps, but also apparently never changes their spam message.
As detailed in this post, if you copy and paste the exact text of a message you’ve received with quotation marks into the Tumblr search bar, you can see pretty much every other instance that that message has been received and responded to.
If you get a message out of the blue from someone asking you to donate or share their fundraising posts, I would strongly recommend that you double-check to make sure they haven’t already spammed a dozen other people with the same message, as the odds are pretty likely they’re a scammer if they have.

Tip: If you copy and paste the exact text of a message you’ve received with quotation marks into the Tumblr search bar, it turns out you can see pretty much every other instance that that message has been received and responded to.
If you get a message out of the blue from someone asking you to donate or share their fundraising posts, I would strongly recommend that you double-check to make sure they haven’t already spammed a dozen other people with the same message, as the odds are pretty likely they’re a scammer if they have.
I’m also pretty sure that in light of this post, this particular scammer will switch to requesting that you respond to their ask privately to avoid being caught spamming people in this way - if that’s the case, you can pretty much guarantee that they’re trying to scam you. ETA: Folks have made the point that some requests for aid could be genuine and to not rule out every request for a private response, which is fair! As always, double-check to make sure they haven’t already spammed or been called out for scamming people, ask for further info, and if they refuse - delete, block and report, baby!

@nonbinaryjew has provided pretty clear evidence above that the person behind the @thatssomeonejackass account has stolen Justin Dixon’s image and case in order to steal funds that would otherwise go to his ACTUAL fundraiser.
If you encounter the @thatssomeonejackass account, do not engage. I would strongly recommend that you block and report their account to Tumblr, and report their account to Paypal to limit their ability to steal from a real, grieving family.
More evidence of @thatssomeonejackass‘s scamming can be found here:
https://againjustforyou.tumblr.com/post/663794973413605376/this-is-a-scam-op-stole-justin-dixons-real
Hey what's up? This is so random but do you mind helping us by Reblogging my pinned? If that's alright though. Thanks much of love! 💗🌈 https://thatssomeonejackass.tumblr.com/post/663750575256633344/we-need-help-for-my-gay-brothers-funeralmemorial
how despicable do you have to be to steal from a grieving family?
your post uses the image of Justin Dixon, a texas resident who was fatally shot on September 20th (information available in multiple news sources such as this one). your post says that his name is Dustin (wow uncreative), that he was killed on Sep 29, and has your paypal in euros (not texan currency). fuck off with stealing real people's photos for your scam.
the ACTUAL fundraiser for Justin's funeral can be found here (verified by news sources). luckily it is almost 100% funded. you even stole the wording of the description of his family's gofundme. what is wrong with you?

WARNING: @prayforneil is another scam account from the donation scammer behind Ivysour and the current cluster of pet donation scam accounts (including helpbailey, thisisformilo and helpacatout).
The @prayforneil account follows the exact same pattern of other scam blogs, including:
Spamming random Tumblr users to reblog and donate to their fake fundraisers
Preemptively blocking accounts that monitor and warn for scam donation blogs
Deliberately choosing the most sympathetic subjects (ill children and the elderly, injured animals, abuse survivors) in an attempt to extort the maximum amount of donations and reblogs
Using the same language and formatting as other scam accounts (ie, the exact same cadence and grammar issues suggesting that the author is ESL)
The ‘evidence’ (ie, stolen photos of real people) depicting Filipino individuals or medical documentation from Filipino hospitals)
Exclusively using Paypal (as opposed to Venmo and Cashapp)
Additionally, the @prayforneil account seems to be using the same PayPal ID as the accounts they used for the @sherwun and @pawntryforhelplesspets scam - all three accounts have used the name “Sitchon” for their most recent Paypal links (screenshots under the cut). If you encounter these blogs (whether by receiving a message from them or just seeing them on your dash), do not engage - just block and report them to Tumblr and Paypal.

WARNING: @sherwun is the new scam account from the same scammer behind the @helpbailey, @thisisformilo and @helpacatout blogs.
As with these other pet scam accounts, this scammer deliberately posts untagged graphic, gorey imagery of injured animals in an attempt to manipulate, shock and distress people into donating and sharing their posts. This scammer will target random Tumblr users, spamming them with messages to share their donation posts. They have a history of stealing real people’s photos in the attempt to legitimatise their claims, but reverse image searching often shows glaring inconsistencies in their story, as evidenced in the post above by @justforyouu.
They have multiple accounts dedicated to this effort, and seem to have pivoted from pretending to raise money for sick children and the elderly, to injured animals. They will typically delete after they’ve been outed as a scammer, only to remake a new fake account the same day.
If you receive a message from a random person asking you to donate or share their donation posts, especially if you have never interacted with them before, I would also recommend that you do not click on their donation posts, as the imagery they post is often very upsetting. I would also recommend that you search their Tumblr user name to see if they’ve spammed people with the same message. If they have, please just block and report their accounts.
As you can see here, the @sherwun account has spammed people just like the helpforbailey and thisisformilo scammer:

Good day everyone,
My name is Floryn, and I am a female toy poodle who is around 9 years old and I weigh just 6 lbs. I spent my life as a breeding momma and I have been finally retired, I was abandoned by my old owners because of my condition. I am looking forward for some help, financially. Since my new furdad Sherwun, cannot cope up with my meds anymore since he also spent around 300$ on my last check up. I currently have limited vision due to a dry eye condition that was left untreated. I need eye drops for life and my vision can be improved over time but it will never be fully restored. I also have no teeth but I can eat and drink just fine. I am timid and a shy dog but I believe that there's nothing love cannot overcome. Please if you do have a spare, an extra amount or even prayers for me to be able to have a second chance, that'll be much appreciated. I still want to live longer esp with my new owner who adopted me without having any second thoughts because of my condition, and I do hope that your furbabies are doin just fine.
Any amount will do even if its a dollar or two. Thank you,
Floryn. xx
Pls send it as family/friend
Donate here:
Feel free to msg me here so that my furdad could also give updates to you personally and provide other proof. Stay safe

To the anon who sent me the submission about those three baby fundraising accounts potentially being run by the same person - I noticed the same things, and I'm pretty sure they're run by the same person too.
I'd like to be 100% sure of it before I make a public post about it though, so if you're comfortable messaging me off anon or DMing me directly (I'd of course keep your ID private), I'd be really interested in comparing our evidence!

https://bfgstsghhxx.tumblr.com/post/662788079026864128
this looks like a scam to me, wanted to bring it up
Hi, thanks for the submission! Yep, this is definitely another scam. Upon investigation, there’s pretty clear evidence that the OP behind this blog is the same person behind the @peopwtasghd and the Adella Dominos/Dominos Della scam accounts. There is also a pretty high chance that this is a scam run by active scammer, Laura Deramas, given the pattern of behaviour here. As @peopwtasghd, this scammer was pretending to be a young single mother who’d been kicked out by her husband due to being a lesbian, and purported to need funds to retain custody. You can see the receipts for this particular scam here: https://scammercalloutblog.tumblr.com/post/660008586620092416/warning-adella-dominosdominos-della-is-a As @bfgstsghhxx, they’re now claiming to be a totally different person raising money for vet fees for their dog. However, they’ve slipped up by spamming people using the exact same wording as their previous @peopwtasghd spam messages. You can see in the screenshot below the cut that they’ve just changed the name of their account but are continuing to spam nearly identical messages to random Tumblr users in an effort to gain some traction for their fake fundraising post.
Most damningly, there is also this post from a user detailing their own experience of being targeted by this scammer: https://lizardamiibo.tumblr.com/post/662985616970203136/she-has-changed-the-url-to-bfgstsghhxx-and-is
As detailed in their post, there is pretty clear evidence that this is not only the same person behind both accounts, but that there is no dog in need of medical care. This is another deliberate attempt to tug on the heartstrings of compassionate people in order to extort the maximum amount of donations from them. As always, if you encounter this person, do not reblog or donate- just block and report them to Tumblr and Paypal.

Fairly sure this is another scam, based on the appearances of other recently-documents scams like Bailey. If it isn’t it’s definitely unfortunately timed. Follows the pattern of url/layout/formatting.
Warning for animal injury/gore, image they used sucks: https://helpacatout.tumblr.com/post/662915231638601728/im-codie-and-6-months-old-persian-cat-asking
WHEW BOY, I knew that the @helpbailey/@thisisformilo scammer was going to continue on their bullshit but I didn't think it would be this quick! This is definitely the same person - their tactic of spamming and harassing people for donations and reblogs, their refusal to tag extremely triggering, upsetting imagery, their blog being completely new and dedicated solely to raising fraudulent funds, and their blog having preemptively blocked this account and other Tumblr users who've been monitoring and calling out scammers, all points very obviously to this being the same person. I would strongly warn against looking at the @helpacatout blog- there is a very explicit, gorey photo of animal injury that is not tagged or hidden under a cut. If you encounter this person, please just report their account to Tumblr and Paypal, and block them - they will continue to use shocking, upsetting and graphic imagery to try and manipulate people into reblogging or donating, and it's truly not worth risking exposing yourself to deliberately upsetting content.

@thisisformilo is now @formypuppymilo
Thanks for the head’s up! It looks like they’ve gone private now that multiple people have started tracking their scam accounts and calling them out, which I guess means we’re due for another fake sob story on a brand new account any moment now.

Reblogging with additional evidence of @helpbailey / @thisisformilo’s scamming. Stealing real people’s photos is a super common tactic that donation scammers employ - if you have doubts about the veracity of someone’s posts, a reverse Google image search is definitely recommended.
Help Bailey scam submission
Probable new scam: https://helpbailey.tumblr.com/post/661847742262493185/my-dog-bailey-is-diagnosed-with-erhlichiosis-and
Post linked above is the only post on OP’s blog, and is identical to this post from a deactivated blog made last month: https://twinnedpeaks.tumblr.com/post/660763543053926400/my-dog-bailey-is-diagnosed-with-erhlichiosis-and
Hey, thanks for the submission! Yep, this looks like another donation scam. After taking a look, it’s pretty apparent that the @helpbailey / @baileyshealing accounts follow the exact same pattern of behaviour that other active scammers use:
Spamming random users to share their donation post
The account being made extremely recently and having very few (or even sometimes only one) post that is solely dedicated to their fundraising efforts
Repeatedly deactivating and creating new scam accounts (baileyshealing was recently deactivated only to be recreated as @helpbailey)
Has apparently preemptively blocked a number of users who have outed active scammers
Pretty much exclusively uses Paypal (as opposed to Venmo or Cashapp), with comments in notes often mentioning that there is something wrong with the Paypal account
Language/cadence when talking about the need for fundraising is super similar to previous scammers like the Flores family and Laura Deramas (slightly skewiff grammar that suggests an ESL user + weirdly specific medical jargon)

I was initially reluctant to release this, but someone asked me to, and in light of the scammer Ivysour/Savemysister continuously coming back (as well as spam reporting my blog until I got shadowbanned bc I called them out :I ), I've compiled a list of this particular scammers' behaviors and tactics when creating new scams. I'm releasing this in the hopes people might see it and, responsibly, use it to help decipher if a particular blog is possibly a scam, and likely part of the savemysister scam.
In case you didn't know, the user savemysister is a scam/scam ring that's been going on for a couple years now, and they've released multiple other fake fundraisers using multiple fake names, fake or stolen photos, and stories because their main scam, savemysister, had been called out so many times (but this particular scam is still active btw).
So, evidence of a certain person being a scammer from the savemysister scam ring should exhibit most or all the following behavior (in addition to suspicious behavior popularly exhibited by scammers lately, but more specifically, the scammer Ivysour, and in addition to the behavior of the savemysister scammer as shown in the link of the savemysister scam given in the previous paragraph)
The person asking for donations is based in the Phillipines (this alone does not make someone a scammer, at all. DO NOT use this alone as "evidence"). The savemysister scammer seems to be based in the Phillipines and ethnically Filipino, and has continuously used photos of people from the Phillipines as "evidence" for their fake donation posts (as opposed to some other scammers who change & falsify their ethnicity for their scams, which I've also seen here)
Its a fundraiser for someone who is not the direct reciever of the money. Usually its someone claiming to be fundraising for a close relative or just someone they have an undisclosed relationship with. Its usually them saying "im fundraising for my sister" or "this family needs help", its almost never these people fundraising for themselves
It's almost always for some kind of medical issues (pulmonary hypertension is a popular one)
The format is always the same: there'll be two photos next to each other; either both are photos of someone (usually who looks seriously ill) and then the "proof" in the text below showing doctor's forms, or it'll be the photo of the person & then the doctor form next to it in the photo
If they are fundraising for alleged medical reasons, the medical condition will be very vague & not elaborated upon (ex: the last scam claimed they needed money for dialysis because of "a heart disease" but did not elaborate which one)
If there's a person who looks unwell in the photo, often times they'll either look very out of it (like possibly half awake or sedated), they'll be looking away from the camera, or they'll be asleep
This fundraiser will often have multiple blogs reblogging from each other & going around asking people to reblog the donation post, or sometimes these multiple blogs will also have made another post for the same person
To add onto the above, they might have multiple paypals with different names advertised on these multiple tumblr blogs, but that these PayPals are all allegedly fundraising for the same person?
The blog has anon turned off, may have messages turned off, replies turned off, ignores anyone who asks them questions regarding more proof or the legitimacy of their fundraiser, and ignores anyone who calls them a scammer or publically asks them for more proof in the reblogs of their own post or in asks they sent about reblogging their post
States that they will "delete when funds are met" (convenient thing to use as an excuse so people will assume your funds were met & that you're genuine rather than the truth that you disappeared suddenly bc you got called out for scamming, right?)
Their multiple accounts asking people to donate to seemingly the same person or same post with have a username with the o's (one or more) replaced with 0's
Two different blogs fundraising for apparently two different people/fundraisers using identical wording (and I don't just mean they sound like the same person because of similar wording or personality, I mean IDENTICAL word for word, copy-pasted messages) in asks or messages for people to donate to their respective donations
The blog is pretty new, only has one post or a few posts on their blog. Sometimes their first post is the one asking for money
Profile pics & header is either something very generic (like a pfp of a cat, & a sunset background) or taken from google (I've seen "aesthetic" pics from pinterest or Instagram icons from unrelated profiles/people)
Alternatively, the photos they've provided as "evidence" for the person they're fundraising for, the photos they've given of allegedly the same person are obviously of two or more different people
Say that they'll update on the situation, but actually don't, if they do in some cases they only update how much money they have by going back and re-editing the same post or generally never reblog from themselves but keep re-editing the same post (I think I've seen this happening as a trend so there's no or limited evidence if they delete the post)
Alternatively, they continously delete and remake the same post multiple times, sometimes with new information, without clarifying why they've deleted their post multiple times
They ask someone to make their donation post for them, or a gofundme in their name or express desire that someone would
They have hidden any reblogs or replies in their donation post that accused them (with evidence) of being a scammer or have asked them questions (with evidence to back up the reasoning for questioning their sincerity) regarding possibly being connected to other scammers
In cases where they have multiple blogs fundraising for the same person: they suddenly delete donation posts that were reblogged/made and then abandon certain blogs for seemingly no reason, while others remain up and/or new blogs pop up fundraising for the identical purpose & person
& please don't take this to mean every fundraiser from someone from the Phillipines or is ethnically Filipino is a scammer, that is absolutely not true! but these accounts who keeps coming back, spamming, & making new accounts & this is all behavior I've seen from the scams coming from the people who run the savemysister scam & these are the tactics they keep using over and over. But i wouldn't be surprised if they tried to change up their tactics AGAIN because they seem to try something a little different with each new scam based on how they were called out before
Again, a post should exhibit most or all of this behavior AS WELL as most or all of the red flags of scammers here to be sure that it could POTENTIALLY be a scam. Please do not abuse this information to call anyone you don't like or anyone who asks for help a scammer.
