Hey! Thanks for getting in touch. It looks like this account has already been deactivated, but from what I can see of the link, this seems to be another pet donation scam account from the person behind the @helpbailey and @thisisformilo scam accounts. They're also likely to be behind one of the more notorious and prolific scammers, @ivysour.

Sitchon Sherwun seems to be the current identity used in PayPal accounts run by this scammer, so I would avoid donating or sharing anything posted by accounts using these details. I’d also recommend reporting the sitchonsherwun@gmail.com PayPal account to PayPal.

Looks like the @kandd-needs-your-help and @starpineda1 accounts have already been deactivated (lol that was quick), but it’s pretty likely the OP behind these accounts will just make new Tumblrs with different, horrible scenarios.

update on scammer behavior:

scammers (in particular, ivysour) is now trying to hide from people who call out scammers by only making their blog viewable for people who have a tumblr, thus if people who call them out are logged in can’t view their blog. SO, if a blog:

is only viewable from mobile & you have to be logged in to view it

has only existed for a few days (or alternatively, it appears that they’ve been around for a few months, check the date of the op on some of their posts, they’ve been using a tumblr feature to make it look like their blog has existed for longer by changing the date of their reblogs, but the originals can’t be edited, so it will say their reblog has existed for longer than the actual, original post has been made)

seemingly encourages people to “Ask questions” if they want “proof”, but has anon turned off, messages turned off, and submit turned off

their donation post has replies turned off and/or they’ve hidden reblogs (& you can see this by seeing if people have reblogged from a particular user, but the user’s on reblog is missing from the notes, this is likely that someone has called them out for scamming already)

the user is Filipino & has their paypal set to Phillipine Pesos

OR: look up the donation posts’ wording and/or photos, they’ve been hijacking people’s real fundraisers, including from actual users here on tumblr (check the notes)

their ask message is identitcal to other blogs apparently asking for help

the paypal name is Dave Torres, Neil Taladico (which is the real name of a man Ivysour has stolen from in order to scam, but has since passed away irl so this could not be him), or any version of the name Reuben/Reumel/Sitchon/Sherwun

Then it’s very likely a scam

What were the cues on knights-men?

Besides the fact that theyre a fundraising blog with similar language to ivysour, has only existed for a short time, and only has a few posts; the first obvious clue is that they have me blocked. This scammer has taken to preemptively blocking me before they remake a new blog so I can't directly call them out on their out posts. Now why would a blog I've never interacted with & apparently is genuine block me? Me seeing if a suspicious blog has me blocked is pretty much a dead giveaway by now.

one, they might be using multiple photos of different dogs. To me, it looks like their dog's eyes are different colors in two different photos. In the first one the dog's eyes are both brown, in the second one, its right eye is blue. Either they photoshopped this (which they've done to photos before) & forgot one eye, or they're two different dogs

And lastly, their PayPal is literally one theyve used before multiple times. Any variation of Reumel/Reuben/Sitchon/Sherwun is them, & they've used this name for multiple other scams while changing the name slightly hoping they wouldn't be caught . Below is the paypal given for knights-men,

And here's the paypals for multie other blogs theyve run (which I've proven were all run by them & the images were stolen), including where you see their paypal for knights-men is identical to iamchloe1, where they had 2 different blogs that used the same photos and paypal while pretending to be two different people & they only changed the dog's name (chloe/reena on reenathepitbull), & was even called out by someone else)

So yeah that's definitely them.

Also I'm pretty sure Sherwun's old paypal used to be different and had the name "Sitchon" in it, and another blog I also called out for being suspicious (who never answered me) suspiciously also called Sitchon Sherwun in their PayPal

WARNING: @prayforneil is another scam account from the donation scammer behind Ivysour and the current cluster of pet donation scam accounts (including helpbailey, thisisformilo and helpacatout).

The @prayforneil account follows the exact same pattern of other scam blogs, including:

Spamming random Tumblr users to reblog and donate to their fake fundraisers

Preemptively blocking accounts that monitor and warn for scam donation blogs

Deliberately choosing the most sympathetic subjects (ill children and the elderly, injured animals, abuse survivors) in an attempt to extort the maximum amount of donations and reblogs

Using the same language and formatting as other scam accounts (ie, the exact same cadence and grammar issues suggesting that the author is ESL)

The ‘evidence’ (ie, stolen photos of real people) depicting Filipino individuals or medical documentation from Filipino hospitals)

Exclusively using Paypal (as opposed to Venmo and Cashapp)

Additionally, the @prayforneil account seems to be using the same PayPal ID as the accounts they used for the @sherwun and @pawntryforhelplesspets scam - all three accounts have used the name “Sitchon” for their most recent Paypal links (screenshots under the cut). If you encounter these blogs (whether by receiving a message from them or just seeing them on your dash), do not engage - just block and report them to Tumblr and Paypal.

Just so everyone knows this blog is a scam. They have an identical blog @knights-men right now, which they'll probably delete soon, worded differently, with a different paypal name (associated with other scams they've done), they renamed themselves because I called them out.

"Neil Tadalico" is also the name they used when they stole the personal medical information from someone on facebook on their scam prayforneil, where they also photoshopped that medical information. Notice how on knights-men you only had like $20 left to go and now on this one you added more and say you need $800 LOL

Below is other paypals they've used on other scams. Any version of Reumel/Reuben/Sitchon/Sherwun is them, amd you can search literally any of these scam usernames on my blog or at @scammercalloutblog to see they're the same person

Also this scammer has been known for photoshopping evidence & they forgot to change their dog's eye color in one of the photos. Why does one photo of them have a blue right eye but the other its brown? Why dies its left (brown eye) pupil in the blue eye photo have a weird dip in it, almost like you drew it on?

THIS IS A SCAM.
