isn't it crazy how "protect the kids" means government censorship of online spaces because parents cannot be trusted to effectively monitor their children's online activity, and "protect the kids" also means refusing to let teachers teach and interact with and support children because they might say something a parent might disagree with? it's almost as if conservatives only worship the nuclear family as a means of control and don't actually care about "traditional family values" or the sacred duty of parenthood or whatever other bullshit they preach

my favorite thing about yellowjackets is that misty was canonically just always Like That. its a story about these genuinely successful and talented teenage girls being put into this horrible situation where they all experience life-changing trauma and mind breaks that push them to the very limits of humanity, hunting each other for sport, surviving as a team until they eventually descend into a ritualistic cannibalism wilderness cult. and theres misty, she wouldve done that anyway
