7:30 am. After being signed of work for 2 months with mental health issues, I'm at the end of my first week back. Nothing's changed. I feel hollow, useless, unappreciated and generally a burden on everyone around me. I don't often speak openly about my mental health because for the most part I don't think people would care, but today I decided to do it, kind of a marker to show where I'm at. It's not easy to drag yourself out of bed every morning when the only thing swirling around in your brain is negativity and the urge to just give up is almost overwhelming. But there are those of us who slip just under the radar of needing professional help and are forced to keep going because they either can't or won't get help. I'm one of those. High functioning I suppose would be accurate. Super jittery from medication today which makes playing difficult. Not helped of course by the 30" scale on this beast.
