If you could give one piece of advice to a big group of people what would it be? 'A few years ago, I experienced quite a bit with my health and nutrition. I got a bit sick. It’s inspired me to study nutrition, and help others who are going through what I went through. A big thing I learned was that I need to help myself before I can help others. There are always people who can help you. I never really talked to my mum, which I regret. 'If money wasn’t a factor what would you be doing?’ 'Oh that’s easy. I’d be in Papua New Guinea. A huge reminder I got from being there was that they have so few of the distractions that we have in our society; without these distractions like computers, social networking, worrying what people think, they just seemed to be so much more in touch with humanity. Family ties are really strong; children express themselves emotionally so much better. We can criticise them in so many ways in regards to what we list as developmental indicators. In so many ways, they’re so much more developed than us, but they’re also deprived at the same time. I’ve learnt to try not to be so cluttered in my mind. The clutter of modern society inhibits you from enjoying yourself and participating in the community around you I guess. My grandad passed away when I was little. He was so old but was always just the happiest, bubbliest person. Every Sunday I went to see him and he always had a Pepsi max.
