"I'd never expect a demon to shy away from a fight." The weaker demons were not a direct threat to them, and so the much older demons preferred to ignore them. However, the intervention was necessary as should these demons reach the village, it would result in a massacre. The red-haired sage summoned his staff and uttered the spell "Radierzell." His circle of magic materialized, unleashing a massive beam of light that annihilated the disgusting horde of demons in a single strike.

"How barbaric." This situation is absolutely below him, and his interest has quickly dissipated.

He turns to walk away.

This memory lay deeply entrenched in his mind, one he would never be able to erase. His gaze, marked by the color of fire, remained fixed on the witches as they faced their fate. The sage raised his hands and began to applaud. "A splendid performance, my friend, so dramatic... but you shall soon discover that the true heartbreaker will be me!" With that, the lumen sage lifted his hands towards the sky, preparing to invoke the Divine Virtue Ritual. "DO-O-I-A ANGEL0S!" The sage proclaimed, plunging his hand into his chest and swiftly extracting his heart. His life essence burst forth, transforming into crimson feathers as he lifted his head, presenting his heart as a conduit for the ritual. "BALTIM ALLAR ANANAEL BALTOHA LEA CONGAMPHLGH IDOIGO ALDARAIAA MADZILODARP!!!!!" The sage's voice boomed powerfully as he summoned his most formidable ally, the deity who had witnessed the first Armageddon, the god of victory and justice: Deus Sol Invictus.

From the heavens above, the god descended in his radiant glory. The sound of bells tolling echoed through the realm announcing the arrival of a king of paradiso... a fitting match for any destroyer of worlds.

The great mage Angel stood before a large, intricately decorated treasure chest. Having encountered many such chests before, his instincts immediately told him this was a trap. Yet, despite his misgivings, he decided to tempt fate one more time. The spell he had cast would reveal whether the chest was a mimic or not, though the spell only had a 98% accuracy.

Undeterred, the mage opened the chest, eager to discover its contents. But before he could react, the chest's lid snapped open to reveal a pair of eyes, followed by fangs and arms. In an instant, it lunged at him with terrifying speed, slamming down on the unsuspecting mage.
