Sage had tried, time and time again, but no luck. Not a single bookstore in town had the book she was searching for. In their defense, it wasn’t new or popular, but it wasn’t some decrepit piece of junk that was unheard of. She had to find it somewhere. The Hobbit Hole was practically the only place left in town to check. It all seemed like a long shot, but Sage was taking the risk anyway--walking herself right through the doors and marching toward the front desk. She clears her throat, hoping to get the attention of the boy at the front desk. “Pardon, I have a question.” Sage begins, polite and courteous as always. When she finally gets a good look at his face, every nerve in her body short-circuits, like her body decided to reboot without telling her.

Ewan. Sage had known he was around, seen him in town a few times since everything went down, but otherwise she had stayed mum about everything. She had ghosted him completely, without a warning. There was no way she could come clean now, it made no sense. Besides, there was no way his reaction would be anything close to pleasant.

“Uh,” Sage shakes her head in hope of clearing her mind. She forces a smile, continuing with her question. “Do you guys have a copy of this book?” She asks, showing him a picture on her phone. Sage was sure that if he stared at her long enough he’d find out her secret--maybe he already knew? Sage had settled with the fact that she was a horrible person, not that she felt good about it.

although i’ve given up one of my muses, i bring you another--who i’m really excited about and can’t wait to have interact with everyone. her name is sage hardy and most importantly, she’s ewans catfish. i’ve listed a few important and extra things about her, to get a better understanding of who her character is.

she’s twenty one and her parents are very high profile people in redwood bay, thus her being well known by everyone. she’s lived here her entire life.

she has a large social media presence, always posting pictures on instagram, doing brand deals, ect. (she’s always lived a privleged like, forced to be dressed up and controlled to maintain her parents image)

she suffers with issues concerning her image and how she wants to be portayed, she worries a lot about what people think of her.

her likes and hobbies including reading (she loves books), photography, and collecting old cameras. when she’s not posting online or going on outing with her family, she’s quite reserved.

she became rebecca (ewan’s catfish) to escape from her life and meet someone without them knowing about her, it worked for a while

now she’s left with the problem of lying to ewan for the rest of the time he’s in redwood bay or finally coming clean to him

also, jamie had the headcanon that the catfish image she used was one of her current muses--a jessica barden fc, so if you ever picture her catfish persona, think of her that way.
