“K-kuuuh!! Fii~ine!” Dan pouted and promptly walked away.
“But remember, you need to have people skills, like ME, if you want to face strong fighters!”
He glared rather cockily and walked away.
sa1kyo:
Dan smirked confidently.
“Yeah, my ol’ Gadoken isn’t a pitiful peashooter anymore.” He scuffed off the imaginary dust on his hands.
“Just so you know, I can charge my shots now. I just didn’t have the concentration or the attention span to do that before!”
Now that he took those weird mindful-something classes that stretchy guy recommended to him one day, his attention span has…moderately improved.
“Heh. With my supreme attention span I can charge Gadoken shots a mile away!”
Was he… Explaining his accomplishments to him? The urge to devour Dan just to get him to shut up slowly started to grow as the young man kept babbling on and on.
“Listen to me…” Necalli hissed, stepping closer to Dan and staring down at him menacingly.
“If you run… Perhaps I will let you leave with your soul still among the living-VING-ving..”
That was just him saying “Please shut up or i’m going to eat you sooner than I said earlier.”

A scrapped plotline is that Dan was originally supposed to be Akuma's angry student (from the caption in an official artwork) but that idea was scrapped when they decided to make him more of a joke character and parody-upped him more to parody SNK. I suppose him being an ex-student of Gouken's might be a remnant of that idea.
