I'm now being distributed on flyers with the @epiccosplaywigs orders. 😱 Shout out to @jrulison for the gorgeous photo and @thewafflesnation for the flower crown. Also thanks to @disneycutiepie for the heads up that the flyers are in rotation now. I finally checked my mail and looks like I got my own flyer today too! I wish I got more than one though. Would love to give @jrulison one and some to friends and family too. One of the few photos of Dr. Aphra and Aviator Han Solo from #sdcc2016. 😎 ⭐️✨⭐️✨🌟✨⭐️✨ Besides Lex's Robin, we didn't work on a new costume for SDCC but here's one of the upgrades that we worked on for an already existing costume. The belt was originally borrowed from @kashmirkitten for #SVCC back in March but this time since Kashmirkitten had designed and made her original Aviator Han Solo cosplay she needed her belt so Dr. Aphra needed her own belt and blaster. We purchased the blaster from Target and Lex sanded off the labels and plasti dipped it. Jnet then painted it silver to give it its aged look. (See previous post) The belt buckle was made from cutting a piece of #sintra and spray painting it with primer then silver. Biggest challenge making this belt was using pleather and trying to make it sturdy. Sewing two pieces of pleather together without it slipping from under the sewing foot was a challenge. I used tear away stabilizer and binder clips to help the process go more smoothly. (at San Diego Comic-Con International)

Senpai noticed us 😍 - It is made from dollar store poster foam board and resin and a broom extension. - Lex spent one month of his summer vacation making it for me so that I could bring it to debut at SDCC 2014. - We're probably going to retired it now that it has had a snowy photoshoot...maybe build a new one?
