➥ Cordelia grew up in what you would call a broken home. Her parents divorced when she was just five years old and she was an only child. Her mom was the most kind person she would ever meet. She was her hero. Delia looked up to her because she was so strong raising a child by herself. She got remarried when Delia was twelve and she was finally happy. It made Delia happy. It felt like their lives were turning around. That’s when her dad came back. She hadn’t seen him since he left, so she barely recognized him at first. It was the night Delia came home after a party and she heard yelling, screaming. She ran into the kitchen, the source of the noises, only to see a strange man holding a gun to her step-dad’s head. The only man who had ever been a father to her. And she watched as her real father put a bullet in her step-dad’s head.

After that, Delia knew she needed to do something to protect those who couldn’t protect themselves. She went to college and found herself in the BAU after she graduated. Her whole life became dedicated to her step-dad and others like him. She only wished it would bring him back.

➥ Eloise grew up in and out of foster homes for as long as she could remember. Her parents were both drug addicts and overdosed when she was two years old. Being in so many different homes, she was brought to many different types of people. She was sexually assaulted by another boy in a home once and when she told someone about it, they just ignored her. It ruined her life. All she wanted to do was lie in bed because she didn’t want to feel that boy’s stare. It made her constantly look over her shoulder and it caused anxiety to build up within her. When she was old enough to move out, she eventually got the help she needed. It was that horrible night that she decided she would try and protect others from things she couldn’t be when she was younger. So, she got a job at the BAU as a special agent and she’s loved it ever since. Every single person there because the family she never had.
