i'm actually so obsessed w the idea that john isn't even actually jack's son. ever since ryan made that comment abt not being 100% sure he's his brother i can't stop thinking about it. the idea that not only is john a weirdo and a murderer, but that he's a fraud? a stalker? that he's potentially stolen someone else's identity, or just straight up made one up? that the thing robert said about john stealing his life is quite literally true? it's so fucking delicious actually. because why? why that village? why that family? why aaron? it would make this whole thing so much more interesting, bc then not only has he been out here killing people, but who the fuck is he and what exactly is his end game with all of this ?? like i need it so bad icl

I would have thrown the false identity theory out of the window looong ago but if (as speculated) they have gone to John's childhood home - that does lend the theory some weight because whyyyy go there unless his childhood/past was going to be signifcant?
