Memorial post for my boy, Percy. Thanks for the three good years we had. I’m honored that you let me love you, and i hope we can meet again someday.

Grief is such a funny feeling. I think I’ll be asking God ‘why’ for the rest of my life, but I think I already know the answer.

You’ve taught me so much about life. You’ve taught me about patience, compassion, the art of gentleness, and so much more.

There are so many things I want to say to you, but I know I can’t. I would give so much for just 5 more minutes with you.

My life feels so empty now. I think there’s forever going to be a little bird-shaped hole in my heart.

Out of all the birds, you’re always going to be my favorite.
