i’m slacking today. jungeun’s eyebrow raises. the other woman certainly seemed fit and if jungeun was her, a rest day ( or two ) would have been well deserved. yet, everyone has their different goals and purposes at the gym. jungeun wasn’t one to frequent the place, as dancing provided a good enough daily workout. judging from the other woman’s words, she seemed to have been a regular at the gym. 

“well, i hope looking for my stupid airpods don’t make you slack even more,” jungeun says, breaking her own trail of thought. she bent down to see if her airpods rolled under any machinery. “you’re so toned though, i think slacking off for one day won’t hurt too much.” 

jungeun smiles at the woman helping her and shuts her mouth before she’d say something like you totally would rock the front cover of a fitness magazine. ( although jungeun wouldn’t be lying if she said it out loud. ) “they might be on the ground,” jungeun answers the question. “or perhaps they flew across the room?”

the other woman’s words did too much for her ego. seungyeon felt her chest swell with pride at her words, feeling a grin slip onto her face before she can help it. toned. she loved any compliment she could get, even though she knew she looked good. perhaps a bit too confident, the other’s words just encouraged her vanity even more. however, she laughs in an attempt to play it off, shaking her head despite any narcissistic thoughts that arise. 

“don’t worry about it,” seungyeon truly didn’t mind, especially after the ego boost she just received from the stranger. “how could i even turn away now? after a compliment like that?” 

the woman chews on her lip as she searches for the lost item, standing up a bit in order to stare over the top of the equipment. her eyes catch what she believes to be the headphones a few paces away near another treadmill - moving quickly on her feet to retrieve the lost item before holding it up to its owner’s view. “think i’ve got it.” she grins, glancing over her shoulder at the other woman as she holds the airpods up. “these belong to you?”

note: unfortunately, school has started back for me and boy oh boy have i been busy ( hence the lack of activity ). i am going to try my best to stay on top of things here in the rp world with both of my muses, but sadly i cannot promise loads of my time dedicated to my girls. that, however, does not mean i’ll be giving up on them. most of my time will be reserved for school work and shit during the week just so i don’t get behind, but weekends will hopefully be rp stuff. this means messages, replies, updates, etc whatever. there will probably be random spouts of free time that i have during the week and then i will do what i can, but for now most activity from me will come from the weekends. just wanted to give everyone a heads up in the life of faye and now we move onto seungyeon  ❤︎

RELATIONSHIPS 💬

she speaks to her parents more often as the semester approaches, keeping quiet about whatever doubts or dangerous thoughts she may have. seungyeon only tells them what they need to know and has for awhile and she’s beginning to notice a strain. she loves her parents, but isn’t comfortable with them. their relationship is more tense and professional than she’d like it to be - most of their conversations starting and ending with discussions of school and her expected success.

as school approaches, she’s shifting further back into her bubble - preparing herself for the exhaustion and dread of an upcoming semester. she keeps in contact with most of her friends via text and social media, but is beginning to wrap up her late saturday nights at the club.

APPEARANCE 💋

HAIR STYLE CHANGE - her parent’s hated her hair, so what did she do? chop it all off of course. now shoulder length, the memory of her once bleached ends are no more - left with a bland hair style for the rest of her bland year. but she still thinks she looks hot anyway.

nail color remains bright as ever, not seeming to lighten up even as she’s shifting into the more serious version of herself. she has to have at least a little bit of fun in her life and right now, that’s her nails.

DAY TO DAY 🌞

school is approaching so she’s starting to shift back into a more serious version of herself. although seungyeon is still fun and annoying as ever, her grades are extremely important to her and her parents so her wild side must be put on hold right now. late nights and endless weekends don’t work out in medical school :)

cutting back on her work schedule, fewer hours as they’ve agreed to work with her school schedule as it starts back on september 2nd

MOOD 😶

still kind of down, especially as the new semester is approaching. this time, however, she’s dreading it a bit more for some reason, but she’s convinced herself to push through it. she wants that doctor $$$ and so do her parents

The relationship between Seokjin and Seungyeon was special and unlike any of his other friendships. She was someone he could be himself around and he felt most comfortable with her. She was the female he was closest with, second to his sister. They were different and yet the same. Two halves of a whole. With her, he didn’t need to worry.

He wasn’t sure what was running through Seungyeon’s mind or why exactly she had asked him to cuddle her, but he was happy to do whatever needed to help her. She was always there when he needed it and he was happy to return the favour. He wasn’t the best at paying attention to movies or tv shows and he had zoned out long enough to not know what was happening.

He blinked at her reaction. ❝ Huh. Never heard of it. ❞ He shrugged. ❝ Is everything ok with you though? Anything I can do to help? ❞

typically, she wasn’t a clingy person - not one to just give out hugs or any type of unnecessary proximity affection. that wasn’t to say she didn’t exactly enjoy receiving it herself and she does, but the woman is quite picky with everything in general. it didn’t feel weird with seokjin, a harmless exchange between friends especially when she just needed someone to listen to her. seungyeon loved to complain, but no one egged them on better than the man.

“hmmm just same old stuff.” she huffs. she’s not lying, although she’s not being completely honest either. nowadays it was hard to pinpoint the exact cause of her irritation - the culprit of whatever negative emotion she was feeling. the feelings had become familiar to her, especially as school was once again quickly approaching aka the worst part of her year. “think it’s just life in general. does that make me sound like an angsty teen?”

“and i’m just gonna ignore the fact that you’ve never heard of jane the virgin.” she takes a moment to stop and roll her eyes, allowing her lips to crack a grin. “no matter how insulting that is.”

she’s done up nice to just be watching a performance - makeup done as precisely as ever as she’s holding up her phone. dark eyes follow the movements of her bright nails clicking up a storm on her phone. seungyeon pulls the camera up, making sure she’s looking camera ready before flipping over to instagram - clicking on the live button as she starts up today’s adventure.

“okay so... anyone have any guesses as to where i am?’ she’s grinning as she speaks, trying to stall a bit while waiting for people to join in. the woman is probably a bit annoying, the way she’s watching nothing but her phone screen, pushing through swarms of people undoubtedly as excited as she is. “finally, someone got it right. welcome to the mga lives!!”

her lively tone draws attention but she ignores the stares, instead taking it upon herself to find a slightly less crowded area up against one of the gates - showing everyone the empty stage behind her with a cheeky grin. “i can’t share much or take pictures, but i’ll give you all the details later. see ya.” she blows the camera a kiss before sending those viewing a quick wave, closing out of instagram and shoving her phone into her back pocket. she knew she’d have lots to talk about later.

when the woman opens up instagram once again, she’s walking to some restaurant to wait for the uber she called just a few moments ago. seungyeon appears a lot less peppy then she had before - just smiling and greeting whoever joined. “okay so this episode highkey sucked.”

and that isn’t entirely a lie. 

“well... the performances didn’t but i hate that we have to see some people go. talented people!! when they still have some deadbeats up onstage!! it’s frustrating really.” she sighs, rolling her eyes and pushing a hand back through her tangled locks. “that one group.... nova i think it was? yeah, not my favorite surprisingly. i’m not giving anything, but i think i found my soulmate.”

for the first time since her broadcast began, seungyeon is genuinely smiling. “hmmm KENTA his name was? yea, that’s wifey right there.” and since she decided to use that phrase to describe him, she really hopes no one who knows him will tell him this. that would just simply be too much to handle, and ruin his nonexistent image of her. “i also think SEUNGHUN did great this episode, but i suppose i’m a bit biased. those two please stay!!”

“and ahhh YEJI, that’s my girl right there. people who have the audacity to call her bossy can’t handle a strong, talented woman. and that’s the truth.” yeji, being one of seungyeon’s top picks, was hard to ignore - her group did pretty well.
