"What's in a name?" – An Elrondriel/Galrond/Eladriel Debate!

Fellow shippers of our favorite Lord and Lady, the time has come to decide which name reigns supreme! After much friendly debate (and some light-hearted chaos) in our Discord, we've narrowed it down to three contenders:

1️⃣ Elrondriel – Majestic, powerful, and a classic choice! 2️⃣ Galrond – Short, sweet, and strong. 3️⃣ Eladriel – Smooth as lembas bread with a poetic flair!

" The soft light of morning filtered through the windows of the Rivendell kitchen, casting a warm glow over the quaint space adorned with wooden beams and lush greenery. Elrond had just finished tending to Galadriel’s wounds, careful to bind the gash on her arm with gentle precision. He had been firm—”You need to rest, my lady.”—but he knew better than to believe she would comply for long.

As he organized the herbs in the apothecary, a faint sound wafted through the air, causing him to furrow his brow.

The unmistakable clatter of pots and pans echoed from the kitchen, followed by the unmistakable scent of something baking. Elrond quickly set aside his work and ventured toward the kitchen, dread and curiosity swirling in his mind. What trouble has she gotten herself into this time?

As he stepped through the arched doorway, he paused, utterly baffled by the sight before him..."

Elrondriel Winter Festival!!

Welcome to our Elrondriel Winter Festival Bingo!❄️ This is all just for fun—there’s no date limit here, so feel free to take your time and enjoy the cozy winter vibes!!

Get creative with prompts, whether it’s art, writing, moodboards, gifs, edits, headcanons, or anything else you’re inspired to make!

Imagine the Durins visiting Elrond and Galadriel, only for an epic snowball fight to break out. Chaos, laughter, and maybe a few grudging alliances (we’re looking at you, Elrond and Durin!) ensue!!

Maybe a colossal snowstorm sweeping through Lindon! Elrond and Galadriel are snowed in, and maybe they start getting a little too creative with ways to pass the time (build a mini fortress? Ice skating attempts?)!!

Could even be Rivendell holding a winter gathering, and Elrond tries his hand at hosting a cocoa station. (Cue Galadriel trying not to laugh when he accidentally over-sweetens or when dwarves insist on adding something stronger to their cups!😉)

A Note About An AO3 Collection: I’ve decided not to create an AO3 collection for the Elrondriel Winter Festival to keep things private and comfortable for everyone. AO3 collections require a publicly displayed email address to manage notifications and queries, which means any email entered would be visible on the collection's page. To avoid using a shared or personal email that might compromise privacy, we’ll keep things simple and post our festival creations here on Tumblr!
