Overview of traditional animation production techniques
I recently stumbled upon a site where cel collectors gather (http://www.rubberslug.com/) and poked around a bit. 90s anime art really does hit different. :)

Hello Fellow Lifer™!!
@jotadoul
That's an awesome very sane question, actually, and yessss absolutely! When I first watched it I was very into the romance and spectacle of the transforming mecha and all that. I also found Allen super annoying (lolll) bec he got in the way of VxH. (The fan response to Allen was also pretty negative back in the day) Anyway, as I got older I came to appreciate the character of Allen a lot more, he is a very unique and super well-developed character! I love him now :)
Every couple of years I would do a rewatch and gain a new appreciation for the major themes of the show, the side characters that all get incredible arcs, and how they're foils for each other. Also, gonna be honest it took a couple rewatches to really understand what the hell Dornkirk wanted lmao ^^;
Also, I got one of my BFFs to watch it with me a couple years ago, and he was very impressed with the animation and the artistry involved. He would point out little production details that other shows would cheap out on but would be lovingly animated on Esca. So that was cool to learn!
So yeah, it's nice to grow with something that I fell in love with as a kid and I'm glad that I can still revisit it and it's always a SLAM DUNK in execution and the feels. :)
