I loved shooting this, the whole creative team are very dear to me and we have all worked together many times before, and it was great meeting the wonderful Grace.  The brief for the shoot was loosely based on the decadence of the Art Deco era with a modern edge but importantly there was no limits on creativity in any area, so Yanina, Tamara and Andy could create absolutely anything and it all came together so beautifully, which I think is one of the benefits of having such a great working relationship within the team. For my side of the process I knew I wanted to recreate the the iconic porcelain skin, dark hair, high contrast, almost illustrative aesthetic that was so classic of the time and worked with a beauty dish at a very high angle and 1 soft box bounced of a a white wall as a little bit of fill light.
