Ahsoka wouldn't be lying if she said she enjoyed sparring with the boys. She really did.

It’s just… was it really a bad thing if her favourite part of sparring sessions with the boys was getting to watch her mate in his natural element while he wasn’t being shot at?

Ahsoka’s heart nearly does leaps and bounds in her chest. She hops up onto the stool and crosses one leg over the other to support her sketchbook, his shirt riding up around her thighs, leaving swaths of her skin on display. It’s a strangely sensual act—Ahsoka doubts any renowned renaissance painter was also mostly nude when painting their subject. But she feels a sense of serenity around Rex. One that allows her to pour individuality into each line and divot as he remains perfectly still on the bed, aside from the soft rising and falling of his chest. A part of Ahsoka had probably always registered Rex as attractive, but in this moment she finds him truly beautiful. Although most of Rex’s figure is on display for her to see in reality, selfishly, she’d like to keep parts of this moment to herself.

Her hand moves delicately as she creates a small folding of the sheets around his hips, concealing his pelvis from the viewer. The way his hips are angled though continue to convey a sense of sexuality, mischief, that Ahsoka finds in his face and body language nearly breathtaking every time she looks up from her work. It must be a luxury to draw someone like this. A true gift of trust for someone to forfeit their own perception of themselves to an artist in hopes that they will receive something wonderful in return. Even though Rex is technically the naked one, Ahsoka finds that she feels rather vulnerable as she sits there on the stool, the object of his desires at this very moment."

So why is it that when she stands there, both of their hands on the helmet he’s carefully painted with her markings, and she looks into his eyes that something deep within her settles into place? An eternity passes in an instant but when she lifts her hand away and the connection between them is broken the feeling is still there, nestled in between her heart and rib cage.

Rex’s eyes widened as he looked over at Ahsoka from where he was crouched in a forced kneel, handcuffed to the cement foundation of the warehouse. Their uniforms had been removed down to the base layer—a black, standard issue, undershirt tank top and boxer briefs for them both—so there was plenty of access to their skin. He hadn’t seen their captors inject her with anything, but she was a seasoned enough agent that there must be a reason she was asking. Now that he thought of it, he didn’t remember them stripping him either. “Why?” he asked, equal parts suspicious and anxious.

“Because I think your eyes are beautiful,” she shrugged.

“What do you mean?” Her face had a quick flash of puzzlement but her tone was gentle.

He gazed down at the female togruta who just laid there watching them. Walking down the dune, Jesse snarled while Fives looked ready to pounce. With a huff, Rex stood tall looking up at the female where she laid on the rock.

“You have one of my baby brothers.” Rex growls showing teeth.

The female squinted down at him for a few moments, “You're not ready to survive out here.” She looked behind him at his pack, “None of you were ready for the harsh life of the desert.”

He shrugged, swinging her sword in his hand just once. Then, he reached for its sheath. “There were ten of us. Fox was already involved with Pantora. Regardless, the absolute last thing Rex had expected when he dropped by Dex’s One-Stop Grocery Shop for a six pack was for the first words he heard out of Ahsoka’s mouth in over a year to be “Fuck me” as “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree” played in the background.

The middle dragon was by far the biggest. His dull scales made it hard to make out if his scales were yellow or gold. Cautious golden eyes held more reluctance to engage with her if it came down to a fight. The other was similar to the first, brown and black scales. The difference in him was the mass of black scales on the side of his right temple creating a 5.

The first one steps forward again, shaking his wings and letting out a low roar. Not to be outdone she too stepped forward but let out a more aggressive high-pitched roar trailing off with a low hiss. Her spines flared and rippled in combativeness. He backed off and looked at the dull yellow dragon. He grunted and turned away, not seeming to want to fight her. They disappeared over the dune moments later.
