   good afternoon,    i hc that john figures out cora is an angel before anyone else. don’t think about him locking her in a ring of holy oil,  demanding answers when she’s stood there having a panic attack because she can’t remember because they dont want her to remember and he’s prodding that wall and the poor girl ends up stood there seeing bright flashes behind eyes,  when realising that it’s going no where he ups and leaves her in the ring because he’s got that them vs me mentality and ‘how dare you not tell me everything about you’

     ❛  enlighten you  ?  you’re so wrapped up in your own bullshit you can’t see that draggin’ two kids up and down the state lines is a symptom of you playing it  ❜     it had been a slip up on his part,  finding out he had kids was never something intentional  -   the whole reason why she even knows they exist is down to a drunken slip up one night when finishing a hunt together,   after brushing the situation off and hoping it was a joke…  it was a like a damn kick in the teeth to actually meet one of them a few months later,  and hunting of all things.   

    coraline knows what it’s like to grow up in the middle of the chaos,  but there was a difference,   the huntress was made for this  :  there was something in her blood that told her to fight,  whether it was down to being raised by demons,  or the weird feeling in blood that didn’t feel quite human… it didn’t matter,  it was different,   completely so when in comparison to forcing kids in this line of work,  teaching them to fear every corner of the room because you can’t accept loss    ❛  we get it,   you’re damaged,   pick up your name tag and join the rest of us.   no need to take it out on your two sons.   ❜ 

      ❛  the one who has no family -  ❜    finger raises to point at the woman   ❛  is about to lecture me on how to raise mine  ?  ❜  pointing back at himself,    it fell so easily from lips with no hesitation.  some may call that a low blow,  especially in this line of work where the common decency was to not bring the lack of company somebody has;  but he doesn’t care and wouldn’t ever feel bad for bring up the stone cold truth of a situation.  the hunters guide is thrown out the window with such ease,  it brings into question if he ever followed it properly in the first place.   there was one thing john winchester hated more than the supernatural,  it was his parenting being brought into question  ― especially by those who had no idea what it means to raise two boys as a single father,   he did what he could with the cards dealt and he wouldn’t ever let people cause him to second guess himself,  not even for a minute... not for a second    ❛  get your own kids,  maybe we’ll talk...  ‘till then how about keeping your mouth shut about things you don’t understand.  and you know what,   lets not bring up being damaged,  is that really a door you wanna open with me ? ❜
