How did the gulper eel get its name? It’s easy to see here! The crew of the E/V Nautilus spotted this gulper eel (Eurypharynx pelecanoides) while exploring the deep waters of Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Marine Sanctuary. Gulper eels’ mouths work similarly to pelicans’, growing bigger rapidly so they can scoop up prey.

Hello! I have a new art tablet and I'm really bad at coloring and shading. Do you have any tips or advice that might help me? THANKS! Btw I love your art.

Oops sorry for the late reply, I havent been to tumblr in over a month as I don't use it often. A very common answer but it takes a lot of practice! See if you feel more fit for painterly blending or if you're more keen on cel shading ^^ Trying out different programs might help you too especially if you're just starting out. Good luck!

Was doing this earlier tonight but I couldn't upload it right away. Something light in between commissions and MAPs Context: I have like a small fear of being hoisted/ lifted up by people for fear they can't balance or I somehow throw them off balance and we both fall injuring them, then I would feel horrible x_x Not that I'm overweight but I'm not very light either.
