Something about the rainy weather makes me so much more productive.
I hope everyone is well and doing alright during this quarantine x

Hey I’m doing the same a levels as you! I love those subjects and I think they work great together! What exam boards are you sitting and are you in year 12 or 13? Also what do you want to do after the hell that is a levels?
Hey! I'm on OCR A for both bio and chem and AQA for psychology :) in Year 12 rn. After A levels (if I survive lmao) I have been definitely leaning towards studying to become a vet or vet nurse! However I do love psychology, but right now I'm loving the idea of taking care of animals :)

28-3-2020; I worked on my chemistry assignment with the patio door open as the weather was lovely & it was nice to get some fresh air ☀️
I have also made a new blog to spread positivity during these times, follow it if you would like :) @thehappinessproject <3
I hope you are all doing alright during these times, self-care is important right now so I've been mostly reading and being lazy tbh

Wow, what a time ey?
I haven't been on here for ages but what better time to than when we're quarantined?
The weather is surprisingly sunny so I did some Chinese work outside ☀️
Stay safe, everyone 🌼

24-11-19; organic chemistry notes
I've been quite behind recently & have been having a hard time (bad physical health & personal issues) , but I'm in a better place today so have finally begun to catch up on my notes and flashcards. I'm hoping to finish today so this week I can start fresh with a clear mind.
Remember to take time for yourself. Sleeping, winding down, doing the things you love are productive, not just school work. 🌻

29-10-19; wowww it's been a while lol. College is so busy, more than I expected even though I was warned haha. It's half-term now and I desperately need to catch up on notes b/c in the past week, I fell a bit behind in bio & chem as I was finding it a bit tricky. But today I started to sort out chemistry & I understand it now :)
How is everyone doing? :)

14-09-19; I'm loving a level biology, by the end of August i had convinced myself that I would be the dumb one in the class and hate it, but I was way too hard on myself and that is not the case at all. (stop putting yourselves down, we're all amazing here 🌸)

3/09/19; Today was my second day of college, I am actually enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would (yay). Absolutely loved chemistry, my teacher is great and the people in my class are easy to get along with. + the content seems so interesting.

30-08-19; I start college on Monday & was sorting out my stuff. Came across some empty flashcards so I got excited and labeled them as each different type I want to make for A levels. I now feel a lot more prepared and excited for college (but still terrified lmao)

Today I worked through most of my psychology transition work that I have been putting off for a while. They set a lot of tasks and I lacked the motivation to get started but once I finally did, it was so much better than I thought. I'm finding it so interesting so it doesn't feel like work, I'm excited to start studying this subject in a couple of weeks 🎉

Quick update + a 'lil motivation 💗
I got my gcse results the other day & I am absolutely ecstatic. My hard work really paid off & I got much higher results than I was expecting.
You guys probably remember I was really struggling with maths this year, and was told I should take different a level options due to there being a lot of maths in the subjects I wanted to do. They wanted a 6 and I was scraping 5s. I got a 6 in my mock in February after working my butt off and was over the moon. In the actual exams I didn't feel like I had done so well at all, and was expecting to drop back to a 5 again, but somehow I got a 7 (A). ?!?! WHAT! I still can't believe it but my point is I want you guys to know that even when you think you've got no chance & you want to give up, keep persevering, because in the end there is no better feeling than finally succeeding in something you were previously drowning in.
I start college on the 2nd of September so I'll be posting more then, as for now I've been pretty inactive as I'm obviously not doing much work. When I am doing work it's mandarin so I post that on my langblr: @zongshixuexi

A TA from my year 11 mandarin class contacted me & informed me that she is doing private Chinese lessons. So I am now taking lessons with her which means I can actually do mandarin at A level! (Which was looking impossible as no colleges remotely near me teach it)
Highlighting words from the reading tasks that I didn't know and adding them to a Quizlet set :)

Bought myself a binder today and have organized it into 5 sections in relation to my weekly study plan :) (instead of speaking & listening section I made an 'extras' section)
As it is Monday, I went ahead and did some grammar work. I picked a section from the a level list that I didn't understand and worked through it. I feel very accomplished:)

in the same situation as you with a levels and although i’m not moving schools, i am so so worried i’ve picked the wrong things. however, multiple people have told me that you can change courses and people will definitely listen and appreciate that in the first month/term, and more importantly you can move back, if your school offers it, or around to other schools. i hope everything goes well for you and i really hope that you enjoy all the subjects you do🌟
Thank you so much 💗✨ Same to you, I hope you end up doing subjects you enjoy & wish you all the best for A-Levels :) x & I definitely need to keep in mind that there is time to change subjects, it is not set in stone, that definitely calms me down haha💎
