house’s big thing is that he refuses to believe that things don’t happen without a discernible reason, like he absolutely denies the concept of medical miracles and spontaneous recoveries. meanwhile, wilson has always lowkey been a believer that sometimes, good things happen and good people get better. so like, i’m not saying that wilson straight up willed himself into spontaneous remission through the power of pure spite just to prove to house that miracles do happen but... oh wait, that’s exactly what i’m saying. stubborn son of a bitch wouldn’t let house win that one, not a chance

In the episode DNR in season 1, John Henry Giles tells House that the one thing he lives for is medicine, his puzzles, and he says that this is why House has no room for anything else in his life, no wife waiting for him at home. And that rings true for a lot of the series, him prioritizing the pursuit of truth over the people in his life. In the end though, he gives all that up, the chance to practice medicine again, to spend Wilson’s last five months with him. Like... that’s Gay y’all

This fucking show makes me miserable, every second spent watching this cursed program sends me into a rollercoaster of emotions, all of which are negative. The very thought of Gregory House causes rage to course through my veins, and don’t even get me started on James Fucking Wilson and that god damn ending-

I was watching House with my mom the other day and during a scene when House and Wilson were talking she just kinda went “you know, I can just see that you love them! Every time they’re together you smile so much”, and like, damn, I thought I was being subtle. Guess I should just submit to the mortifying ordeal of Being Known.

Something that’ll never cease to confuse me is the fact that some people just... don’t see that House and Wilson are in love with each other?? Like, this is genuinely baffling to me. I obviously respect everybody’s opinions, but I’ve tried to see the show through the perspective of someone who doesn’t think that they’re in love and I can’t physically do it??

Today marks 8 years since House and Wilson rode off into the sunset together. So lovely to know that since then they’ve settled down together in a little cottage with their little dog, and that Wilson’s remission is still going strong! We love a happy ending!
