Sometimes I think about the interview where Gianni said if he had to live with any character, it’d be Stingray, and I just laugh at the idea of a Demetri and Stingray spinoff.

Like, just imagine Demetri getting kicked out of MIT housing for some reason (karate related? Experiment gone wrong?) and having to find a roommate.

And for some reason, Stingray decided he needed to leave town and teach karate somewhere else (Massachusetts).

And then they become roommates! And Demetri does robotics but he also gets caught up in karate shenanigans with Stingray and his army of 10 year olds.

Guest stars from Cobra Kai appear periodically, often for ridiculous reasons (Anthony runs away one week, Bert and Nate visit MIT, Tory needs a place to crash where no one would expect her to go, etc.,)

Eli is there a lot, and it’s super unclear what kind of relationship he and Demetri share (like boy is there drinking coffee in the morning in his boxers but also they never so much as hold hands). The 10 year olds want to figure it out, but Stingray is literally oblivious. The truth doesn’t get revealed until the season one finale.
