I feel a bit disingenuous recommending Mushishi to people as a peaceful, Zen sort of anime, because even though it is that generally, there are some significantly not-peaceful elements, and I'm not sure how to convincingly communicate, "It really is very chill and relaxing but also there is a metric fuckton of body horror."
