@dumdibumb Same here. Yet at the beginning I felt she weren’t a saint one. My bad I didn’t listen to my sixth sense. I just wish that she would return me someday those two Siamese cats, my cutlery carved in wood I’ve got as a gift for dealing with a horde of trolls from Carpathian mountain’s men back in 2009 and this crystal jar in which I kept souvenir after my ex boyfriend. I can uderstand the cats and the cutlery, those were pretty nice and stuff, but who the hell needs a lock of hair inside a crystal jar? Duh. Susan, if you read this, keep the cats, even the cutlery (but this is a huge shame and loss for me) but for gods’ sake, give me back this jar.

Animation shows digital restoration of photo, that was taken during the time my great grandfather (my mom's grandpa) Aleksander was in the military in the 20′s - The Second Polish Republic period (1918-1939). One of my friends told me his uniform suggests that he belonged to a branch of infantry (I’m not 100% sure tho), what I had not known before, since my knowledge about military stuff is rather weak and grandpa died in 80′s and nobody really remembers the details. Grandpa apears on this picture with two other men. It was probably taken May 14th, 1921 or 1924 as says inscription (poorly written so it’s hard to read everything) on the back. Even if I’m a professional, qualified photographer, this was just made for fun, not the way it’s supposed to be. I took a picture of the photo with phone the other day (which is a big nono, it should be scanned and stuff) when I was talking with my friend about our families’ history. The right corner that had been detached was hand drawn by me in the graphic software and it’s not perfect but I can say I did my best. It took about three hours to do.

The longer I live in this country, the more glad I am that I’m basically too old to have kids, so at least part of this bullshit won’t affect me. Even if I wasn’t too old, I’d be seriously considering going abroad to have my tubes ties (because that’s illegal here, too!), because the idea of raising a child in a country like this fills me with absolute terror.

Time to brag! So my very best friend, Sebastian, bought me this poster from ebay as a gift in May.

The story is that this poster was my dream since I watched the film for the first time (I was about 10-11 years old and since then I’m watching it every Halloween). I’m not actually able to order something from foreign sites and to be honest I’m not wealthy enough to afford such things. I’d have to save money to be able to afford that and at the beggining I was planning to do so and one day I was sitting at Seb's (who's actually a fan of the film too) and we were talking about it and I mentioned that I'm dreaming to have that poster and asked Seb (who's able to buy things at foreign sites and is in kinda better financial situation than me) if he would like to order me that poster when I'm done with saving money but he just asked me on which site to buy it and before I could even stop him, he ordered it with no hesitation. I was like "no, what have you done? I'm not done with collecting money..." and he said "Chill out, you'll not have to pay me back for that. It's a gift.." While I was thanking him, my eyes were full of tears.

And so as you can see it’s very special to me, the poster as well as the film is.  (and it’s my favorite film tbh). And today I finally bought a clip frame to hang it on the wall. I feel so happy. (And sorry for my english.)
