My God I’m So Lonely
Batfam x batsis!reader
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3
Jason thought by now everyone would be on speaking terms, they weren’t. Now it was his job to fix that, he felt bad in a way for letting the problem go this far. Jason understood more than anyone your frustrations and if he were you he would never forgive them, except he needed you to. Hypocritical, he knew.
What Jason could think about is the countless occasions this family has failed one another, believing the legacy of that should end here.
You did miss your family, college life was a bitch. Though you did not regret your choice to leave, the actions felt like constant disrespect and you needed to choose a path in life.
Guilt, a strong feeling which was currently eating you as you tried to finish typing your thesis paper. Across the room your roommate spoke up, “y/n keep that up and you’ll get wrinkles.” At this you realized your face had been locked in a scowl for majority of the time that was spent typing, sitting back you stare at pictures of happier moments on the wall.
“Maybe you should visit them.”
“Who?”
“Your family, everytime you come back from lectures you just mindlessly stare at those pictures. It’s normal to be homesick y/n.”
For the rest of the week that one word occupied your thoughts, homesick. When at the manor you were sick of your so called “home”, so this came as a shock to you. Mind going between the fact that you were crazy to even consider it and how eventually you would end up seeing them again. As hurt as you felt it’s not like you could avoid them forever, subconsciously pushing the idea off until you caved.
How does one go about contacting a family with a nonexistent relationship. You could only think about how you were worlds apart from them. Y/n a regular civilian, besides the fact that Bruce Wayne adopted you. Then again “regular” people didn’t have to cling on to the small strings of sanity they had left in big mansions, the walls closing in. “Stop it.” You thought to yourself, there was no pushing this off any longer. For the sake of Alfred who looked a bit more on the sad side last time he visited, you caved.
It was almost like that day. A small child looking up at a big scary castle that would take her pain away, a scared adult looking at the mansion of her rich adoptive father which caused her the very same pain. The place that was supposed to protect you like a princess locked away in the walls of a castle, drove you over the edge.
The sound of you knocking made you cringe at how quiet it was, straightening your spine at the oncoming chills. Upon opening the door you were yanked into a bone crushing hug by Alfred then he led you inside. Damian was one of the first to notice yelling out, “See father I told you l/n would be back!” Then hugging you which confused you since you didn’t think that he liked you, believing that you were below Tim on his list. Slowly the family trickled into the main room. Dick’s face looked older than he was, as if the stress had finally got to him. “I’m sorry.” He whispered as he pulled you into a hug.
Tim and Bruce were discussing something when they walked in, a boyish smile gracing Tim’s features. He too joined in on the hug. At the end of the day you couldn’t hold him at fault for the real problem.
Everyone stepping away when Bruce came over with a relived expression. This time you were the one who hugged him, it would take time to fix things but this was a start.
From the top of the stairs someone watched the display below with a smile. If it were up to him Jason would have locked you all in an escape room.

My God I’m So Lonely
Batfam x batsis!reader
Part 1 , Part 2, Part 3
Alfred and Jason had known of your whereabouts being the only two members of the family who were attentive to you, both had visited you at university helping you move into the dorms. Four months had past since you left changing phone numbers in the process and going by your mother’s maiden name on all documents, of course even the world’s greatest detectives did not think of that one. The university life was peaceful you attended the lectures, went out on weekends with a new group of friends, and after adjusting to the schedule getting a job at a coffee shop with your roommates.
There was nights where naturally the thought of what your family was doing came to mind if they were still looking for you and how they reacted. Neither Jason nor Alfred had the heart to tell you how the disappearance affected the family, it was the first time they thought you were happy with life and where you got yourself. All the hard work and countless nights alone made it where schoolwork was an enjoyable distraction, back in highschool pushing yourself into countless clubs just to not have to return to the empty manor. Back then you were just “Bruce Wayne’s kid”, now you were just y/n and your accomplishments were your own. At galas people would say something along the lines of ,”y/n must have got it from their father, he’s hard working.” Never was all the hard work you put in yourself without help from any of them talked about.
When they realized you were gone
Dick: Dick was angry not at Bruce or anyone else, but himself. The same reason he left originally was to become his own person away from Batman, now you had done the same to get away from the Wayne legacy. He had been there before in his own way and was disappointed that throughout all the times he visited which was not much but in his mind it was, he never noticed. The other thing was Damian, how could Dick break the news to him? “He wouldn’t understand” He thought to himself. There was the times Dick would take you to the roof of his building and the two of you would bond over the overwhelming feeling of when you both first moved into the manor. Now he lost another sibling.
Jason: He couldn’t bother to be honest about your whereabouts. Jason quite enjoyed everyone running around at first losing their minds. He wanted them to regret all they had done, they did more than that. Plus he along with Alfred had been seeing you, it’s was ending the fourth month you had been gone. He figured after the fifth it would be a lesson learned, you all would be laughing having dinner in the manor. So next time he visits he would tell you the plan.
Tim: Sometimes Tim wished you were dead, now he knew it sounded horrible and was an inhumane thing to even think about. You being dead would be better then the dead end search that was being made to figure out what happened. All the nights he didn’t sleep, while the two of you may not have been the closest he still cared for you. There was a period of time he had to step away from the titans in order to sort through his emotions. The team was very supportive throughout the whole thing, even offering to help find you.
Damian: At first he believed that you would just be gone for a few days and kept insisting that you would return, “l/n will be back later.” While he had came a long way with his attitude there was still room for improvement. It wasn’t until a month had passed of everyone around him more restless then usual and no word from you he went to confront Bruce. “Father l/n needs to come home, it’s been a month since the night of their graduation.” He stated with his usual attitude lacing his tone. Bruce thought to himself about that night as the other members in the bat cave looked at the young boy with grim faces.
That night...
There had been a league mission and truth be told Bruce did not know it was your graduation, for that he knew he was a terrible father and made a huge mistake. Leaving the cave harsh footsteps sprinting up the stairs, opening your door. “Y/n-“ Empty, your empty room was the sight that greeted him. Bare with nothing but the original furnishings, no one realized that you had been taking stuff out in small amounts at a time leaving it in a storage unit. “Y/N!” He tried again almost as if saying your name would make you magically appear out of thin air. By now Dick and Tim had heard the shouting and came upstairs, “Why you yelling your going to wake-“, Tim started as he was nearing your door. “Y/N?” Dick watched the exchange with a painfully brewing feeling in his chest. Dick explained to Damian how you just got an apartment and would be back to visit soon not being able to think about how the truth would affect him.
a/n: long awaited part 2 this is a bit bad i am on vacation at the moment and started writing this a week ago and at the very end did not like it as much

My God I’m so Lonely
Batfam x batsis!reader
note: y/n- your name and maybe inspired by a mitski song 🤔
summary: reader who feels as if they don’t fit in with the rest of the family due to not being a crime fighter
Part 2 Part 3
The walls were suffocating, It seemed almost as if you could never really get out you felt trapped. Nobody was around for the most part it seemed, in reality the family were in their own world of crime fighting and their respective teams. There was a drastic change between your old life and now at first you were fascinated by the manor and it’s size, not having been used to it. Now it’s the same routine get up, go through the day, shower, sleep, repeat. If you were lucky enough on weekdays almost the whole family ate breakfast, they would talk about cases but being there with them would be enough to stop you from losing it.
Sometimes you thought maybe you did want too much after all your family is gotham’s heroes. So when your birthday rolled around the first time you did not blame them, but then it continued to happen. Alfred used to bake your favorite cake but eventually you told him to stop. So when the time came a conversation took place.
“Are you sure that you don’t want anything miss y/n?”
“Thank you Al, but I don’t want your pity.”
The older man gave up his strained smile having seen the damage holidays have done. Alfred used to plead with Bruce and everyone in the bat cave to show up for you, eventually he gave up seeing no change.
“Well what do you want I can go pick it up.”
“I just want somebody near me.”
Your voice broke and the tears that you usually did a good job keeping at bay on this day burst through. The night was spent in the kitchen baking Alfred’s famous cookies and when you left to sleep, he let his own tears fall.
Sixteen, it was your sixteenth birthday that night and now you were eighteen and graduating hoping the family would show up. League mission all hands on deck, Bruce would not be showing. The titans had a run in with Slade, Tim and Dick were out. You looked in the crowd disappointed but not surprised. After shaking hands and looking into the crowd for pictures a genuine smile graced your features. Alfred stood with flowers in his hand and someone with a white tuft of hair in front, Jason. Having been out with the outlaws and not seeing eye to eye with Bruce he was never around much, but he showed up for you.
All your belongings were packed and since nobody paid attention either way you were able to load them into your car outside the manor. Looking up at the place you once viewed as a castle in a type of fantasy where the princess and prince would share one good movie kiss. Now you knew that it only happened in the movies where things went well. After the last look and sliding into your car to drive away you come to a realization. To yourself it seemed that you were dammed to spend every aching moment alone, with nobody.
