I got bored again and had artist block so I painted descriptions in book first one from If This Gets Out and the other one from Unlikely pair.

“Sharks don’t have tits?” - Angel but he sounds really sad

“I fucked a man and I liked it, the taste of his cherry chapstick”- Angel probably with a whole dance to go with it

“Jesus is not fucking himself” - Jon after a long day and he is just exhausted with the boys

“Every song is gay if your gay enough when listening to, have sex”- Ruben during a heated argument with Angel and Zach

“What the fuck Martha” - Ruben when ever he’s fed up with one of the boys (Ruben’s pissed off your name is now Martha)

“Don’t touch my cocaine” - Also Angel at some point in time

So I've kept a notes app note full of quotes starting my freshman year of high school so here's Saturday as the quotes in my quote book:

Okay so this, I saw that review and in the same breath that person talked about it being a YA book, then complained that it had YA stuff in then bitched about the smut in a book the by definition would not have that much if any smut and still pass as a YA. 99% of that review pissed off, have whatever opinion that you want just, when bitching about something at least know what you are saying

yo so I'm gonna blab about the lack of smut scenes in itgo (and books in general), cause I just saw a post of someone putting that in the cons of a review. (and yes this is a rant just a heads up I can't keep my mouth shut) also no hate to that person this is just my opinion on it

it's a pro for me definitely - seeing smut scenes in books (for me - this is my opinion guys don't kill me) really kinda icks me. I tried to read booktok romance books and hated most of them just cause it was literally just a porno.. I'm talking a bunch of them was just smut scenes every 3 pages like guys pls take some plot my god

itgo is great w the smut scenes with the fade-to-black nature of them as it makes me feel like I'm not intruding on something. we know what happened but it's like without the detail. like it's weird right because I write smut sometimes but in my mind although smut IS great in books and has a purpose - I really do think it should be mostly in fanfics.

that's not to say that smut shouldn't be in books because you can write whatever the fuck you want but sometimes for me I can feel real icky reading the details of an action that I already know (like in the after scenes for itgo it explains itself like Zach or ruben mention it but not in detail which is great)

also take this post w a pinch of salt cause I'm drunk and can't keep my mouth shut lmfao I dont even know what I'm saying rn but heyyyyyy
