4. what do you wear when you dress nicely?

simple. i don’t dress nicely XD last time i had to dress somewhat nice was a fancy restaurant with a bit of a dress code and i wore brown chinos and a white shirt with a nice repeating diamond ish issue type pattern and a sensible shoe. this was my first attempt at Trans Masc Dress Smart and i sort of just bought clothes that fit me. the waiter called me monsieur though so i succeeded in at least that respect

6. what do you use to keep your place when you’re reading a book?

7. what colour dominates your wardrobe?

i’m very multicoloured to be honest. i’m looking and seeing quite a bit of red n blue. there’s a dark section at the end with my wintery stuff in that’s not been broken out since april

20. what kind of maths are you best at?

not to flex but i took further maths alevel… and absolutely exploded for a variety of reason, one of which being i’m not that good at maths apparently

to actually answer the question ummmm,, i don’t know? i can’t even… think of more than one type of maths and that type is Numbers That Mean Things. we sort of just got taught Maths. well actually it was split into sections now i think of it… decision maths was all algorithms and shite that was suuuuper fun and very satisfying to accomplish for my little brain. statistics was,, eh,, our teacher was a bit iffy but when i knew what was going on i was pretty good at it. that said no one ever fucking told me what standard deviation actually is other than ‘how far it deviates from the standard’ which is Unhelpful.

mechanics was trickyyyyy but sooooo statisfying when you have reems of pages of this stupid fucked up calculations and it all comes together in the end and you get the correct answer. loved that when it happened PLUS my teacher was well good which always helps. i remember being completely stuck on a question, being so sure my calculations were correct yet ending with the wrong answer only to realise after about ten minutes that i had factored in the friction right from the get go and being so deliriously deep in the sauce that the mental image of a ball flinging itself clear off a table at high speed because there was no friction (which is what i had inadvertently modelled) had me giggling for an hour.

i can’t remember what we called just. maths. probably that. CORE. we called it core maths, and the other types above there the modules we took. but yeah core was almost always fun apart from polar coordinates. fuck you polar coordinates i haven’t a donkeys what you even are, all i remember is circles.

i still haven’t answered the question and at this point i think it’s unlikely that i’m going to. i think the maths im best at is the stuff that i do correctly first time and quickly. and can i just say that having four different types of maths in a day and lugging around four MASSIVE THICK HEAVY textbooks isn’t fun

anyway maths i love you if only i hadn’t lost my fucking mind in my exams maybe i’d be putting you to some use to this day, instead i’m on tumblr
