hiya :) i asked myself the same question a while ago and checked out Yoru Mo, Asa Mo by Sei and i was a bit like...meh...like it's a brilliant 8/10 but i am disgustingly picky. i will probably reread it in the future and decide again, but for now my answer is no.

Hi! I was just wondering if you had any plans to return to Sayonara, Otokonoko, Farewell Boy? Actually maybe you weren’t the original translator? Maybe just the same name? I was just curious because I came across it. And I was wondering what happened at the end.^^

I'm currently in the middle of typesetting the next chapter of Come to Hand Vol2 by Sei. So here's a bit of a look at how I typeset and QA pages. Overall, I like to QA my JP>ENG when I typeset and then do a once-over at the end. I find that I can decently memorise what fonts I use for FX after a couple of chapters, but not perfectly.

You'll also notice how I copy and paste (poorly) the translation into free-form text boxes and then make the line adjustments myself. I'm in no rush when I scanlate cuz otherwise I make mistakes, and I find it pretty therapeutic. I also find that creating preset text boxes takes the same amount of time because I will STILL go in to make adjustments...Talk about picky LOL.

On the original post I've just updated the Mediafire file (same URL) and Mangadex with the missing text on pages 001 and 012. Nothing important to the story but missing nonetheless...!

I have started working on this manga. I have no release schedule since I'm a corporate slave.

I love Come to Hand and regularly re-read it to feel good. Sei is a master of building warm, loving relationships. They show how to navigate the world with kindness through fun, colourful, and warm characters.

As far as I can tell nobody else is working on this and it’s not licensed yet.

i don't plan to take this work on since i'm not a fan of the plot or characters as much as kuroi yodaka's other works.

i was really interested in taking on sensei's Welcome to the Torano Detective Agency, and i was looking to see if i could pick it up when i finally scored some holiday time from my corporate slave job. however i realised that Copyright Infringement Scans beat me to it. but i have no hard feelings - their scanlation work is absolutely superb and they release very quickly :)

it might be worth asking them if they plan to take on The Witch's Dog. their email is on their mangadex page.

Hiya :) I completely get you: I love Sensei's work too.

I like to read the whole story before I consider scanlating it, so I might if I can find the tankoubon raws online.

If you haven't already, it may be worth reaching out to Team Konbini, who scanlated The Omega Takes a Husband, to see if they have any plans to take on any more of Sensei's works. They do award-worthy scanlation...!

You can buy the physical book for the Japanese Volume from Amazon JP. CDJapan are more reliable and a lot easier to use than Amazon JP, but unfortunately this story isn’t sold on there.
