2021 International Bands

Band Types: Sport Loops

This year Apple released 22 International themed sport loop bands, in honor of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. All bands are made out of a breathable nylon and each one’s color represents the country. Apple also released exclusive matching watch faces for each country. 

Top Row (Left to Right): Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, and Denmark

Middle Row (Left to Right): France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Italy,  Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, and Netherlands

Bottom Row (Left to Right): New Zealand, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, and Sweden

2017 Pride Band

Band Type: Woven

In 2017 Apple released its first pride band to the public, however this band made its first appearance in 2016. In 2016 it launched at the San Fransisco annual pride parade. It is a nylon band and features red inserts, as well as a silver clasp closure. Due to this band being released five years ago, it is not the easiest to find. It can be found on eBay at times, but it does cost a pretty penny.

2018 Pride Band

Band Type: Woven

In 2018 Apple released its second pride band. Like its previous variation it is a nylon band. Both watch bands feature the rainbow stripes, but the 2018 version has white stripes between each color. The inserts are white and it has a silver metal clasp. compared to the 2017 version, this band is slightly easier to find.

2018 Activity Rings Band

Band Type: Woven

In 2018 this band was released exclusively to Apple Employees, who closed their move rings everyday for a month. It is a simple black nylon band with a red green and blue color blocked stripe on it. These colors symbolize the colors of the activity rings (blue for standing, green for exercise, and red for movement). Since this band was never released to the general public, it is extremely rare.
