I’m nonbinary, please use the proper pronouns.

Hello, I have been mentioned in posts by mutuals and non-mutuals alike who aren’t sure about my pronouns. I strictly use they/them as I’m nonbinary, I don’t and haven’t used she/her pronouns since coming out in 2019. I’m very understanding of unintentional misgendering as well, but I would like to point out that my Carrd has always had a MUN section where my preferred name(s) and pronouns are mentioned directly.

As for my names, I need to clarify this as well:

Miro is my preferred name online, Ophelia/Oph is my alias that I’ve used on online forums. I go by both, sometimes interchangeably. People know me personally by both names as well depending on the platform I was using at the time. That’s why I don’t mind if either is used.

These names, however, shouldn’t negate using the proper pronouns for me. Even if one is masculine and the other is feminine. That doesn’t mean that you should disrespect someone’s gender identity because of their usage of gendered names.

At first, I wasn’t uncomfortable with it but as it’s continued I’ve been more and more uncomfortable. I’m nonbinary, I would like the decency of my identity to not be invalidated. Please don’t call me by he/him, she/her, it/its. I don’t like that and it’s not my preference.

Even to Ozzie it was unbelievable the stress he could feel in Andre's body as he laid right on his stomach on the bed, seeing his feathers fluffing up as his fingertips trailed down his spine. Once again, he leaned over to begin preening his unkempt feathers from the hard week he had.

Part of him was caught off guard, never having been on a date since entering Hell. He was rusty as can be, not to mention the date was with a crowned Prince of Hell! He drummed his fingers down the microphone's base as he nodded. "Very well, would tonight at eight o'clock sharp work for you?"

As the wind caught her hair, she laid back into the grass taking his hand. Lilith wanted nothing more than to have a single day to not worry about anything, and this was it.

The perfect gift to receive from her beloved, to be wrapped in his wings and holding him closely. It felt like their youth once again, and she looked at him with the same expression that she gave him centuries prior.

Just as he shared a smile with her, and as she shared a kiss to his forehead the thought that lingered in the back of her mind once again came up.

Another night, another ten margaritas coming across the bar. Her brother was the light weight, already passed out on the couch as the servants who tagged along fanned him with his own fallen feathers. Stella on the other hand could hold her weight in alcohol and proved to have a larger tolerance when her brother was brought into the picture. Her two hands clasped over the other angel's with the same hopeful smile she always wore. It was anything to get the other angel out of her usual space, and to feel something beyond misery. Emily wanted nothing more than to help her dear friend, even if Adam was gone and Emily felt the roots of the betrayal stemming from the work of Sera ; she still loved them so dearly.

"Let's go for a fly, or if you want to we can go for a walk. Just let me talk to you even if it's for a single second."

Inter-dimensional portals always fascinated her, she poked her head through this one in particular. In comparison to other worlds, this one was oddly dark-- it was macabre, reeking of bloodshed and the tears of innocent lives. Perhaps it was the Seraphim blood in her that sensed the tragedy written between the lines of each building she slowly passed as the heavens opened, with rain trickling onto her suit.

Somehow, her light was out of place here and someone noticed judging by the voice she heard directly behind her, followed by the footsteps. That's when Charlie froze in her spot as she turned to see them face to face.
