it’s never too late!!!!!!! to text them back. to drink enough water today. to get into a skincare routine. to learn the piano or how to paint!! to learn winged eyeliner. to tell them how u feel. to start getting fitter. to get changed or brush your teeth or shower today. to read that book or watch that show everyone was talking about years ago. to turn an acquaintance into a friend. if u don’t start somewhere u won’t go anywhere at all.

New Years Resolutions 2019
The idea of New Years Resolutions can be daunting and intimidating, especially for those who want to make a monumental difference in their life.
I always would find myself recycling the same word-for-word Resolutions around the holidays, yet I would never keep them. If I wanted something so badly, why couldn't I stick to it and achieve the goals I set out?
The answer is: I lacked self-discipline, patience, and knowledge.
My 2019 goals feel different than any other ones that I have implemented in previous years because I grew so much this year as an individual and woman. I have overcome several tribulations these last 12 months that have made me mature, grow even more independent, and gracious that I learned I am in control of my own happiness and well-being! The power to change my habits, diet, body ideals, and negative thinking was inside me all along! No more excuses!
Here are my 2019 New Years Resolutions:
PERSONAL:
-get license
-be kind to myself
-practice positive thinking/dialogue
-keep up with current events
-listen to more podcasts/watch more YouTube educational videos
-keep up with NFL, MLB, and NBA
-leave toxicity and trauma in the past
CREATIVITY:
-paint at least once a month
-have a weekly writing prompt
-complete 2019 reading list of 78 books
HEALTH:
-10K+ steps/daily
-run 2,019 miles this year (5.5 miles a day)
-1460 cals/day
-140gP, 45gF, and 125gC
-bedtime: 10pm / wake up: 6am
-run a 5K, 10K, and half marathon
-workout 5 days/week
FINANCES:
-save $6,000 by June 15th for car
-always have $1,000 in savings account
-pay off any and all debts
-get credit score to 750+
ACADEMICS:
-maintain GPA 3.5+
-do 30 minutes of Spanish Duolingo/day
-keep & monitor Hagan Scholarship and Schwab Account
-study for the GRE
-volunteer more/job shadow
-research PA schools
-continue modeling for art classes
If I can believe it, I can achieve it!

a gentle reminder that you did well this year. you met new people, learned new things and felt new feelings. you did so many things that made you scared. you picked yourself up off the floor after feeling completely defeated or heartbroken. there were some really tough nights but you survived them all. you made people happy just by existing. you accepted many goodbyes but the serendipitous meetings made up for them. it was your own hard work that paid off but you always downplay it or compare yourself to others. that’s not fair on yourself. you’ve come so far from the first day of this year. you have more wisdom and strength now. yes, other people seem more “successful” but does that even matter? please don’t think so lowly of yourself to only think about your failures. 2018 was your year of growth. I hope you take a moment to be kind to yourself, and believe that 2019 will be even better.
