So I’ve been working on this little Dot Series painting on and off for over a year. 🎨💜 🖌 Some paintings just take longer than others and are a struggle to finish. 🎨 . The small square gessobord is very colourful with shades of 💙 blues, 💜 purples, 💛 yellows , 💚greens, 💕pinks and ❤️ reds. ❤️ 💙 🖌 I started varying the size and direction of the brushstrokes of acrylic paint to make it more interesting. 🖌 🎨 the Dot Series is a very slow, meditative painting process of building up layers of color and glazes over many days and sessions. . 🌈sometimes I add too many colors and spend a lot of time trying to edit these colourful artworks. 💜 I aim for these paintings to have depth and just the right amount of color and excitement. 🌈 . ❓📆 ⏳After over a year, I’m still not sure if it’s finished.
